Plugins are normally on the flash (unless you moved them), not sd card.
Don't wipe the old card until the new one's up n going.

They all do the same thing more or less.
It's really a matter of opinion.
Try them all out and see which one you like. -
You can get it here:

Or alternatively, install our addons panel and get it from there (also channel lists, skins, plugins, drivers etc)
Addons panel is here:

Will have to setup swap file again (after initializing it)
And better to check all other settings, just to make sure (but should probably be ok) -
Useful thread on how to build your own with simplebuild:

You'll probably have to set up a static ip within your router for your duo2 first.
Then you'll have to go into the duo2 settings and find the streaming port (or transcoding port if your upload speed is poor) and http port.
All these ports need to be opened on your router for your duo2 static ip you just setup.
There is greater detail on this thread:

Have you your dish aligned correctly?
Very hard to align your dish without some sort of meter. -
Support stops here due to violation of rule 2:

Glad it worked, thread closed

Try disconnecting any devices from it first (rear mounted usb's / hdd's etc)
If that doesn't work, format your usb key again using hp format tool (attached) and load your image onto it again.
Some receivers are picky with the type of usb sticks (sandisk cruizer blade 8gb always works for me)- - - Updated - - -

Remember if you format your card, you'll loose everything on it (if openelec is installed on it)
-
If you've good upload speed, you should be able to to it. (don't own a dm800 so not 100% it will work)
Only doing this from memory so one or more steps may be incorrect (not in front of a receiver at the moment)
Setup static ip on your router for your dm800
Change your openwebif http port for security reasons (80 is default as far as I can remember but is also main internet port) and open that changed port on your router for your static dm800 ip
Change streaming port away from the default one, also for security reasons (8001 I think) and also open that port.
You should now be able to access your webif using your dns:changed http port
It then should stream through your opened streaming port (all going well)
I think there is also security authentication settings in the webif which should be enabled to lock it down more securely but I'd only set these when your happy it can stream first.- - - Updated - - -
If it doesn't work for you, remember to close those ports again

First, use this tool to format your sd card:
http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=85913
Then, use this tool to write your image to sd card:
http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=86075 -
I presume your dm800 has openwebif.
You should be able to use it for streaming across your network. -
Glad your sorted, I'll close this

The higher end vu and mut@nt receivers are capable of transcoding, probably others too (vix and blackhole images for these receivers have the option to transcode, maybe other teams as well)

Setup the tuner that the cable is inserted into (don't think it matters if its a or b as long as its enabled but go with b if the manual states it).
menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration/select tuner B
Configuration mode :simple
Mode disceq A/B/C/C
Port a should point to the satellite connected to port a(or 1) on your diseqc switch.
Port b to satellite on port b (2 ) on switch and so on and on.. -
