So Vix only works with the Sundtek stick?

    I wouldn't go that far.
I just can't get my (cheap generic) sticks to work on hades 018.
I'm sure a lot will, exactly which ones, I don't know.
I did encounter this problem also on blackhole a couple of releases ago.
Some worked on 2.0.9 but wouldn't work on later versions until 2.1.4. (as far as I can remember)
Maybe a previous hades release will work. (worth trying if you have a stick to play with, I won't have the time now until next friday night at the earliest)
I'd also be slow to purchase a turbo, especially if you have other branded receivers , I don't think vu will have any interest in ensuring receivers other than their own will work with the turbo.
This is where sundtek comes into their own in my opinion, but they are expensive.
You could check out the usual auction sites for a second hand one maybe?

    Unusual problem, try a reboot.
Did it happen all of a sudden or were you upgrading something?

Is this the zgemma your having cross epg problems with?
You may need to flash again.

I tried yesterday but vix feeds were down.
Working (again ugh) at the moment.
I'll give it another go tonight when I get home.

These are the sticks i've tried on my solo2 running openvix hades 018.

I downloading usb drivers from the vix feeds but only the sundtek worked successfully.
The hauppauge Wintv nova-t was recognoised but did not pull in any channels.

    Hope it helps somewhat.

Try a different stick and/or image and flash again.
Sandisk cruiser blade up to 8gb work (dunno about higher capacity ones)

I've used quite a few on blackhole (I'd imagine they will also work on vix)
Cheap generic rtl2832 from fleabay but channel changes were slow.
A hauppauge WinTv Nova-T Stick which was a big improvement, had it in my solo2 for ages.
I'm currently using a different generic rtl2832 that I picked up in a car boot sale for €3 in my vu zero and it works ok.
I do find that the sundtek is faster than all the others mentioned (It would want to be for the price of it)
There are drivers for various types of usb sticks available on our addons panel that may be worth installing if you have one that's not detected at the moment.
I'll check what works on vix tomorrow evening as I'm currently at work now.

Glad your up n running, can you post up your configs (hash out sensitive stuff)
    It may benefit others.

Here is the dropbox oscam file

What do you think? Should I block them in oscam.services/reader_local also regardless of that text in the Wiki (Attention: If load balancing is activated here, it may in oscam.server among services and ident are no entries!)?

Oscam wiki looks like its translated from german, (some clarity is probably lost in translation I think)
I would recommend using a services file for what you can/can't clear on your cards.
If it is only au your worried about, just apply both reader labels to au in your oscam user account (use reader label as opposed to au =1)
    Eg:

    Quote

    au = local,remote

Make sure your oscam.user account has access to both groups if you have your readers in different groups.

    Quote

So you can't both have load balancing activated and use the services file?

I have both activated (loadbalancing is activated by default when you have more than one reader/proxy readers)
It works well for me but the difference between my setup and yours is in the preferred reader (oscam normally prefers the local on my setup and this is where the services file comes into its own on my local reader. I have never needed to adjust the weight on my readers)
Give it a try and let us know how you get on.
Just backup your configs before changing anything.

Thats correct, just edited the title to reflect this.

I was hoping for egami. I have that on my ultrabox

Egami doesn't appear to be available for it yet (not listed on their site)

Must be a relatively new receiver.
I'd imagine most of the teams will start supporting it in the near future.
Keep an eye on the "nightly builds" tab, top center of the page for the latest team image releases.

If your official receivers work and free to air on your gigablue work, then I doubt it is a problem with your new octo lnb.
Your gigablue needs either a share (a line) or an official card to open up premium channels.
An emulator (oscam/mgcamd/cccam) won't open them alone, you also need one of the above.
You can use your official card from one of your official receivers to open them but if they are official hd receivers, the cards in them are paired and won't open your full subscribed channels, ie: movies or sports or most hd channels.

A bit more info would help to be honest.
Is your dish accurately aligned? (you may have accidently moved something when fitting your octo lnb or skewed it too much/little)
The signal strength and quality indicator on your receiver will give you a good indication of this.
If you suspect your lnb is dodgy, you could always try another input in it.
When you say "skybox" are you referring to an official receiver or the closed sourced ones?
Are you using your own card or a share?
If you are only using a share, are you using the same line in all of your receivers?
Does your gigablue work if you disconnect your skybox's?
