Have you a backup image created?
Disconnect any usb peripherals connected to the receiver (usb stick/hdd etc)
Format a usb stick (i find some receivers can be picky which make and capacity usb are used)
This is a handy usb format tool
I use a Sandisk cruizer blade 8gb which does work for this type of receiver.
Tutorial on how to flash this receiver is here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=64734
Load your backup on to usb or (if you don't have a backup) Images can be found here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/forumdisplay.php?f=658
Or click on the nightly builds tab on the top of the page and scroll down to openvix to get the latest vix image.

Your correct in all of the above.
QuoteWhats the difference between using a m3u file on a mag 254 and a mag portal?
M3u files posted on the site are free.
They don't normally last long to be honest but new files are posted daily.
Normally anyone offering mag portals for cash are iptv payservers.
This site is firmly against payservers, and no support will be forthcoming to anyone who uses their services.Quote
<2> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.
The full set of site rules are here:
http://linuxsat-support.com/misc.php?do=vsarulesQuoteAre channels better quality using aportal rather than m3u file?
Not necessarily.
They may even be using the same files, just charging you for it. -
Is there an image on it?
You can find images here:

Baby steps to start with. -
Not normally but there is a new satellite in the 28.2 group (astra 2g i think) which has become active in the last month or two so there has been a lot of channel shuffling between the satellites up there. I'd imagine it will settle down come the start of the EPL.
I'm holding off creating a list till then to be honest.
You may have noticed all the e2 channel lists have been updated regularly in the past few weeks because of this. -
That is a bundle deal, wifi usb dongle included.
They are a good receiver but the wifi usb will use up one of your two usb inputs and will probably not be able to close front flap if you have it inserted in the front. You may want to use the rear usb for a hdd if you'd like to record etc.
Homeplugs or a lan cable from your router will give good if not better results than a wifi usb and will free up your usb input. -
That list is over a month old i'm afraid.
Loads of channel moves/changes since.
I'll try and create a new one in a few days. -
Tm 500 super is an enigma1 box (as far as i'm aware)
Channel lists from here should do you:

202e firmware is here

Probably have to wait for the next patch release or go back to a previous patch.

There will be no additional support for your issue as you have admitted to using a payserver here (which goes against rule 2):

I'm going to close this now. -

its a payserver. The guy says that the files says that the lines are fine and working. The Cccam 2.3 still works but as I say it gets freezes from time to time
They normally tell you it's a problem on your side, which is probably not the case.
If you manage to get mgcamd working, the results will probably be the same as cccam but by using a payserver, your in violation of rule 2Quote<2> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.
Please re-read the rules:

QuoteDisplay More
Still having trouble with this. I have a FAT32 formatted USB stick in the box.
Mountpoint /media/usb (also tried /media/hdd) & saved.
Main Menu/Set up/System/Customise/Set up mode = expert
Main Menu/Set up/System/Recording Paths -this is set to /hdd/movie as 'Default movie location' =can't be changed
When I save with green button I get error message 'The directory /hdd/movie is not wrireable
. Select a writeable directory instead
You might try to format your usb stick to ext3 first and then setup your mountpoint to media/hdd or media/usb -
Loadbalancer may do it.
QuoteDisplay MoreReader preference for the LB
With lb_mode = 1, one can prefer certain reader (in the normal case, the local reader). This one does in the oscam.server. When the readers are to be preferred to come to the following:
lb_weight = X
Default is "lb_weight" to 100 The higher the value, the more the reader
is preferred. I set for local readers "lb_weight = 300" and have all
the external reader "lb_weight = 100". With lb_weight can (fake) quasi
improve or deteriorate the ecm times the reader or. Therefore fake,
because people are framing the LB better or worse times. It does not
really the "original" ecm times of the Reader. The higher the
"lb_weight" value is, the faster the ecm times one reader. The lower
the value, the slower the ecm times one reader.

It can come as a single or dual dvb-s/s2 or a hybrid dvb-t/t2/c tuner installed.
http://www.world-of-satellite.…Plus-Solo-SE-V2-2x-DVB-S2
There is only one tuner slot but it can accommodate a dual /twin tuner dvb-s/s2 module:
http://www.world-of-satellite.…S2-Dual-Twin-Tuner-Module (dunno if this will do the solo se v2 though) -
Your live log in oscam webif should tell you if your peers are clearing.
-
Have a go at loading this backup on to see if it works.
http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=86704
Also, make sure your lnb feed is in lnb1 input at rear as only that tuner is enabled so far on openatv.
are you getting any response from the wetek after pressing the arrow up button or blue button (if on old remote i think you need to press * button to toggle between colours and numbers) on remote?

Try the one in the first post.

Cccam is a software emulator, ie: a software version of a conditional access module (cam)
Quote
It is software that enables your receiver to view your own subscription card (local card) or your friends card (a share, in the form of a c/n line)
It uses the cccam protocal (c lines) but is capable of also using newcamd protocal (n lines)
There is loads of parameters in cccam.
It would be easier to explain the parameters you require based on what your hoping to achieve with cccam, ie: share your local card or just use it to access a friends share/card or share from a server you've created. -

Hi Codar
Have you taken the patch for teh A253 down??
No, I re-uploaded all patches, post #6 (obtained from a different source due to users having problems)
They are all in the file on the first post (including the 253.abs patch 1.28b6)
I am unable to test most of these as I only have an ariva 150
If your having problems, may I suggest upgrading to the current original firmware from ferguson first, then try the patched version.Quote
Please report back.
