Did you try to press the up button or menu button?
Screen normally goes blank if ther is no signal/channels stored.
Menu button should bring you into the main menu of the receiver where u can scan for channels.
Ps. make sure that the stb button is pressed first as some of these remotes can be used as a one for all remote and if tv is pressed, it may not work your receiver.
Also, make sure your satellite feed is plugged into lnb1 input if only one feed is available (i have seen it plugged into the loop through of lnb2 before~)

I use one of these on a vu zero and find it works well.
I have the usb/power side of it plugged into an old apple charger to free up the zero's onboard usb slots which i use for a 32gb stick and sundtek dvb-t usb tuner.
I think it has t/fer speeds of up to 300mb/sec

Note, I have no connection to the listing, i'm only showing it for reference.

    On your PC server:

Delete what's in red (don't think it's needed in cccam entry.)
Change configs to values that are in green (so both accounts have access to both cards/groups)
    Restart oscam.

These 2 user accounts now produce two lines.
    c: ip.of.server port mmtte umty

    And

c: ip.of server port llky tyuwk

    On your Duo2:

If your using oscam in your duo2, use this tool to convert either or both c-lines (you only need to use one in your duo):
    http://linuxsat-support.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=10388&d=1344884910
(it will create a "reader" which will go into your oscam.server config on your duo)
The output from the tool will look something like this:

    Then restart oscam on duo2.

Or you can just use cccam 2.3.0 on your duo2 and paste one of the c-lines into the cccam.cfg.

Let us know how you go

First off, try searching for the info you require in the relevant section or use the google custom search bar (top right of forum)
If your unsuccessful, then just go to the relevant section and start a new thread regarding the info you require (post it in support).

The lx1 is a fixed sat tuner.
The lx2 , one tuner is fixed and one is plug n play (can be fitted with a dvb-s/s2 or dvb-t/t2/c hybrid
The lx3 has 2 fixed sat tuners and room for two additional tuners (sat or cable/terestrial)

I'd agree steve, the card should still be read (especially if the op didn't changed anything and it happened overnight / all of a sudden) , i'm just wondering if something more is at play here (with new entitlements rumored not to show dates maybe, only guessing though)
    I hope it's only a setup issue.
    More info is definitely required.
Full configs, and receiver details for starters.

Its sh4 chipset, e2 has been modified to run with it. (probably why plugins are difficult to install, and flash is very limited as far as i can remember)
I had experience with one and used nebula image as per recommendations but that was a couple of years ago.
I personally didn't think it came near to a mips receiver for ease of use, support and stability (did experience a lot of lock ups/ green screens etc) but that said, it was a few years ago and probably have improved now.

Are you sure it's oscam version r1124 ???????

Probably modern rev no. Actual oscam may be 9875.
Did anything change which led to this (new card /entitlements run out/ order extra channel etc) before you decided to insert it into original receiver for testing?
Was your card always paired to the drx 890 (I think I remember reading that this has happened with cards paired to hd receivers without ever being placed in the receivers but may be mistaken)
Only asking these questions to narrow the cause so other users may not get caught with the same problem.
You could try and upgrade oscam to a newer version but i doubt it will help as your more than likely paired at this stage since you inserted in the receiver. (only takes an instant as far as I know)
Only other way out of it is to try and get your card paired to sd receiver i'm afraid, and i dunno if they will do this anymore tbh.

Oscam works quite well as client on wetek using openelec.
I haven't tested it as server.
Although channel switching on sat side of things (i find) is a little bit slower than my main receiver (solo2)
That said, i may not have it set up properly.
    Can't comment on UHD capabilities
