I've ordered from there before and everything went smooth although they were only engine mounts.

If it is "ASH" error, use the original software for your model from ferguson's website and the right upgrade tool for your model also.
If you are using a usb to rs232 adaptor, some may not work.
Better trying to find a pc with a native rs232 port. -
Firmware for a 150 won't work on a 250.
You can download new firmware for your 250 from here:

The patched firmware will let you configure cccam, just make sure you put 250 firmware onto 250 receiver as trying to put others may result in "ASH" error. -
There is a plugin called miltiquick button which will enable you to map your remote keys to the functions of your choice.
Dunno if it works on an nbox though.

Freezing can be caused by a number of factors, server,internetetc. Not normally the cams.
I would think about buying something else which can generate an epg though.
It would cost a bit more but well worth it in my opinion. -
Try using the ariva module on a pc connected to the same network.
just type in the ariva ip into the address bar and enter your details from there.
Easier than using the remote. -

I think it should. Just remember to choose the right one for your receiver. They're 8 in total, all in the one folder. Choose the 202.abs one, if thats your model.

You should probaly install an image of choice first, I have installed hyperion in the past and found it to be stable but there are a few images for this receiver about.
The linuxsat addons mips32el.ipk is the one.
Ftp it to tmp folder and from receiver ,install manually from addons manager (blue button as far as i can remember).
You will need a programme such as dcc or filezilla to ftp the linuxsat addons ipk to your receiver from your pc. (use the google search at top right of page to find it.)
You will need to connect and mount a hdd for timeshift, picons, epg etc.
