  • Problem Moving recording from hard drive to memory stick

    I have a Gigablue Quad Plus HD and i am trying to move a recording from the hard drive to a memory stick and when i try i get the following error message after a few minutes..

    Can anyone decypher it as it is just gibberish to me lol...

    and my computer can detect the hard drive but when i try and access it it detects no files, even though i have a few recordings?

  • MGCamD Not working?

    Here is my setup


    I live in a 4Bed/2 Living room set up
    we have Gigablue Quad Plus in L1, Amiko Alien 2 in L2 & B1
    Plus Optibox Spider HD in the Other 3 Bedrooms


    In my Living room L1 I have a Motorised System, all the rest are on Fixed 28.2 Dish through a Multiswitch
    My box in L1 is wired to the D1000 modem, while the rest are wired from 2 separate Routers in the attic (Mainly for 2 reasons, No wireless signals can penetrate the attic and only 3 ethernet ports on router)
    Which means 1 for the gigablue, 2 for the attic routers, 3 for my blu-ray and 4 for my games console.


    For some unknown reason the gigablue wouldn't respond it had its logo fluttering away in the top left corner for hours
    so i switch the box on and off via the button on the rear and there was still no response, my main viewing is 19.2 and channels seem to work fine
    After a reset and it seems i am finally back to normal apart from channels are not descrambling as quickly or as reliably as normal,
    plus (don't know if it has something to do with it) when viewing channels it used to come up with a little box at top left hand corner
    something along the lines of - NDS CW IRD plus a few more to let me know it was doing something now the only thing i can get is germany, which freezes once in a while or others like spain and france which stay black..,

  • MGCamD Not working?

    I have checked the newcamd.list file it is ok..
    I am using a Gigablue Quad Plus with Openmips 4.3
    After having a box failure factory reset my box and finally managed to install my softcam
    placed the newcamd.list in usr/keys
    I don't know what ese to do..

  • Problems with HD Channels

    I am having a few issues which I would like to discuss with the good folks here..
    I am having difficulty receiving HD Channels either by the transponder not finding any channels or the transponder omitting the channels..
    For example on 0.8w 11261 H finds no channels..
    and on 13e HD channels missing from 11900 H


    If anyone has any ideas I would be very glad to hear them..

  • Gigablue Plus HD Black Screen

    I recently purchased a Gigablue Plus HD and it has been nothing but trouble, setting aside my dislike for enigma 2, I am really getting problems viewing free to air channels.
    The box seems to have a mind of its own, some free to air channels are marked as locked, when I try and move from one satellite to another it will decide whether it wants to or not..


    For example
    BBC RB1 works fine, change to BBC Wales black screen
    Change channel from BBC RB 1 to channel on 19.2 won't move


    I have to go into positioner and manually move to 19.2


    I wonder if anyone has any thoughts?

    well i have a SLY Card and a SLY Deutchland Card and a SLY Italia Card
    i am trying to record the hockey on sly sports 3 hd so i can watch when i get home
    but when i use oscam it glitches so i changed to cccam and it is better

    they are for different packages, the one i am using at the moment is port 4000

    I seem to have very slow ping times on my 7mb bb eircom service
