If you are using a motor dish and want the full settings, why not just install the motor settings, delete the bouquets on that where you prefer autobouquets, then set up autobouquets. Deleting bouquets is easy - when you are on your list of favourites, select the bouquet you want to delete, press menu on the remote and delete. It takes about a minute to delete a full sly bouquet - so isn't much of a chore. On the AutoBouquetsMaker that comew with ViX, you can - on the configurations, change keep all bouquets to 'no' and this will bring up a 'keep bouquets' option in the menu, where you can just select all the desired bouquets that you have, and rather than delete, this hides them so you can get them back when you wish.

Couple of things to do - go to plugins - openwebif, and see if this is set up correctly, and check the port and streaming ports. Also go to network settings and ensure that your network is working and that there has been no changes to the IP address. From what you said, you probably are connecting to it, but the streaming is not working. Try refreshing your browser, also you say you are clicking the stream button and it opens a web page? It should be opening your media player with the stream, but usually you will see a browser temporarily open before the media player starts. Something to try - right click the TV (stream) icon, and save the link to your desktop (should be stream.m3u) - then right click the saved stream.m3u file and select 'open with' - and choose vlc player if you have this installed, to see what happens. If this doesn't work then it is probably an issue with the receiver rather than the client.

Quick look at the rules will bring you to this
Quote<6> No links are to be posted to other commercial satellite retailers other than our site sponsors.
so you won't get any answers, if you are interested in receivers our sponsor doesn't stock, then I am sure you can use a search engine - have a look at the sponsors though, because there are twin tuner E2 receivers with better support for not much more than the ones you are looking at. The NBOX and Alien are SH4 based, as opposed to MIPS processor, so are never going to be supported as well.

Never had any issues like that! Have changed images, moved, mounted, unmouted, used on different recevers, and still the HDD is fine. Another possibility is if your receiver is connected to the internet, and you have the wrong ports open and poor security, then it leaves it open for someone else to break in to and cause havoc. Apart from that, could well be your kids!

To troubleshoot, disable the ecmwhitelist, the ecmheaderwhitelist and services line (placing a hash infront of them) then reboot server, return to the config file after rebooting to ensure that this has saved. If it is not working still, it could be an entitlement issue, or maybe do a rescan to see if there is an updated version of this channel that works.

because there is probably a language setting that needs changing somewhere - in English it is translated as;

Cruise between Points
Horizontal rotation
Line scan
Patrol track

Ok thanks all, but I think it is time to close this pretty pointless thread now:sheep:

Whats the point of me joining this forum if i cant get a question answered
Quote<12> Anyone found to be running a Pay Server will be permanently banned.
<13> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.
Now - when you join the forum, you accept the rules. There is no point in you joining this forum if you are going to post outside of the rules, because you won't get answered.

I put it 2wice, you could just answer me rather than post that
And stu - maybe you should read the forum rules. We do not support anyone using payservers. Test line = payserver.

Cheers Musogeek i tried that but it did not show up but ive just found in the vix feeds and it worked that way
Strange one that - it was fine for me! I just found it in the ViX feeds, I didn't look before as I assumed it would not be there considering they took down the 1player plugin for 'legal' reasons, and the fact that this plugin contains 1player content:confuse: -
How do you install this ZYGA thanks
I installed this yesterday - just unrar and place the MediaPortal folder in /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
restart. -
what is 12 months iks, can some one educate me ?
IKS = "gift", so in other words, payserver, So no more chat on this aspect of the receiver please.:beat_brick: -
The receiver looks nice but the IKS menu or gift is just one massive payserver rolled into the price of the spiderbox
Yes I have to agree, and I fail to understand why some forums out there proclaim that they are anti-payserver, yet continue to openly provide support in order to help people get the 'gift' working, and also the retailers sell this knowing that the price is over-inflated in order to fund the server. £100 is cheap, but the fact is that you can get HD closed source ethernet receivers for nearly half this price. -
Please can you post an introduction first.

Do you mean deep standby or a complete shutdown? I am struggling to understand why you would want to completely shut down yor receiver after the EPG update, especially as you are trying to get the Autotimer to work, it kind of goes against the grain of what you are trying to do:baffle:
There are plugins that can auto shut down your receiver if this is what you want to do, but most of us would keep it in standby.
