it's got to be something with cccam how it reads the codes as I had a box with cccam 2.2.1 on last week every channel went off put 2.3.0 on and they all came back apart from the one everyone is missing

I found another post suggesting to use cccam 2.3.0 put that on and works fine now.

Im currently using a duo 2 on openvix latest image relfashed twice so shouldn't be that. I've had this problem since moving into this house and I'm no longer using my motorized dish. Just got a sly dish up fitted by there enginee.

I have tried the following to rule it out.

First tried each cable in each tuner to rule out a faulty cable or tuner both worked great no problems at all.
Tried having tuner a setup in simple and advanced why using 2nd cable of motorized dish and equal to a.
I've also done it the other way around using tuner b as the main.
I have also tried setting each tuner on simple and advance but still the same.

It doesn't sound likely but I feel I've tried everything else could slys lnb have software in it to stop you doing it on a foreign box.

Thanks for the in-depth reply money isn't the issue just sometimes you would pay all that extra just for the look of it the plug and play tuners of the duo2 sounds right up my street as I have had problems in the past with tuners on older dreamboxs and they were a nightmare to change plus I like the idea of being able to put a cable tuner on it if it's ever needed without changing the whole box. As for the image I use vix atm not used blackhole since my dm500 never really liked it even that got changed to commando

Hi just wanting a little advise looking at getting a new box I currently have a vu duo clone which I got off eBay thinking was genuine we all make mistakes. Looking now for a new box and wondering what people think about the duo 2 or solo 2 and if there's much difference between the two or should I change box types altogether and go with something ddifferent.
