I understand we do not discusses sources here. BUT:

I get EPG on/from the very same source with Xstreamity, Therefore it must be the combination of EPGImport with Enigma2 and BMX.

One thing I asked in another thread already but still don´t get: When I change the place where EPGImport is to put the EPG-File do I not have to also "tell" Enigma2 where to look for that file?

But unfortunately I´m back with my original issue - the older version of EPGImport recommended above does not import anything at all (for me).

Now trying again more recent versions... Is it just me with EPG issues? Maybe I´m jut too stupid?

can´t reinstall BMX. After trying I get Extnsions/BouquetMakerXtream unavailable "No module named requests". Any hint?

Thank you for that - I think I´ll take the most recent version of BMX and that version of EPGImport and start from scratch (reflash). The above version of EPGIimport is by far the flowest I tried, but that might be a good sign since it might actually parse and pick the correct events. I´ll report back once done. THANK YOU!

Looks all correct but does not work - does BMX install a suitable version of EPGImport as dependency or which version is recommended?

location of EPGImport is fine and it basically does download some 700 events - I can tweak the amount by EPG duration and number of channels to download for. I told EPGImport to place the file in /media/hdd and it is created. But it does not seem to be used. Is the above entry in channels.xml with example.m3u8 in it not an issue?

Also my EPG-data appears to be pretty huge but I thought when I succeed to limit the download to some 700 events this should not be an issue?

I´ve installed this about two weeks ago on a DreamTWO with Newnigma2 image and have been fighting to get EPG running since. I also had a discussion with Lululla on EPGImport but I seem to be missing important aspects. I posted the current state and questions there and repeat it here - hope this will not be punished for double-posting. I meanwhile do believe my issue is rather linked to BMX than EPGImport - futhermore: Do I even NEED EPGImport or should BMX already provide the EPG? Also tried JediEPG plugin with no luck :-(

Thanks Lululla for your work and support here. It does meanwhile ALMOST work. Plugin works both on DreamTWO ad DM920. Import from GIT, add own source via Bouquetmaker or whatever tool and then download events from own source. Imported almost 1,000 events successfully.

The imported events just do not show up yet...

And for everbody (like me till about two hours ago) not knowing where to put the content of the above ZIP-File:

\usr\lib\enigma2\python\Plugins\Extensions

Happy to do so - the question however is HOW to launch the plugin since anything younger then 1.91 does not seem to appear in "Extensions". And that´s true both for DreamTWO and DM920

this does not seem to work on a DreamboxTWO - it just does not show up under extensions. A Version "mod Dorik 1972" seems to but I found this only till Version 1.91 but that old one workes only now and then. How do I get a recent version on a DreamTwo running please?

And happy to test and report back of course
