My son who shares of my s** card has a dm800 clone, he as bt broadband and because he has no *** card only way he can watch it is through the internet.

My question is if I take my box and card to his house and he rings them up gives them my card number and they activate my box at he's house, once I return home with my box and card will the bt sports work from my home and can I share it back to him.

Hope it makes sense.

I have a sunray 800se sim2 ssl84A

I am trying to flash a Bh image to the box with no joy, I flash the box using IB i've tried six different BH images and everyone gets stuck in dream multimedia.

I've tried different images which flash ok but I prefer BH, what am I doing wrong or does the se not like BlackHole images.

Think its my tele whats knackered because if i put the box hdmi in the other hdmi slot it works.

One other thing downloaded bh 2.0.4 image for the solo everything setup except cannot find where the cams are or the ts panel, so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

Something strange here no picture on the hdmi but get a picture on the scart lead.

Tried that ten the green light keeps solid but nothing on the tele just a blank screen

I'm trying to flash an image to my new vu solo, I've unzip the image bh 1.7.9 put the folder on to the usb, put the usb in the front usb slot turned the solo on red light on the box, usb starts flashing so i think the image is uploading. The usb stops flashing, the light on the front of the box goes green but starts flashing and won't stop.

What am I doing wrong.

Quick update

New box arriving today messed about with my dm800 last night this morning dm working again, don't know what i did i just removed the tuner and put it back in.

Flashed it with a new image everything fine but the box still won't ping in serial mode, as i'm typing my new box as just arrived to replace the now working dm.

I've a good mind to throw the dm in the wheelie bin anyway.

Tried a different psu but still the same, can explain what you mean by a putty session, I've also tried flashing a new image using dreamup but kept saying unable to ping the box.

My 800 clone won't boot up, all i have is the red power light flashing and a blank screen tried re flashing with dream-up but still nothing.

Anybody have any ideas what the problem is or is it heading for the wheely bin

Thanks for the advise and when i do buy a box it will be from the sponsors, had one box of the sponsors before and they gave me a lot of advise before i purchased the box.

Been looking at the Venton Unibox HD1 but need to ask another question the Venton HD1 does it come with twin tuners or does it come with one and i need to add another.
