    Yep i spotted it was not clearing from my freeview card yesterday...it looks like some sort of uk subscription is required to view the channel now.


    I also noticed the ecm length changed from 44 to 77.

    Yes there is. Try this below


    1 = mount
    2 = umount /media/hdd
    3 = mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda1
    4 = mkdir /media/hdd/movie


    Whats the model of your hdd and has it ever been formatted before in a similar box.

    I cant believe you are distributing emms from a viewing card and you do not know what configuration files are! not only that you do not know where they are located?...one beggars disbelief dude..i mean how on earth did you set the server up in the first place? Did someone set it up for you or is this a copy and paste config/backup image job.


    Its no bloody wonder providers are fighting back with the amount of people now involved in this hobby that are messing around with equipment they have no clue about.

  • MGCamd Config for connecting to CCcam and Newcamd


    N lines go to CCcam.cfg for use with cccam..its basically a converted newcamd line that works with cccam


    Example for conversion of nline in conjunction with mgcamd (newcamd.list)


    N: details
    CWS = details


    You are best to use CCcam i would say.


    If you really want to try mgcamd with those 2 lines then 1.35 or 1.38 are the versions to look out for.

    BH are usually pretty sharp in updating there images anyway for whatever reason..you have to realise there will be bugs with every image released and we are the guinea pigs which of course we all dont mind as they put all the hard work in..Regarding 2.0.6 i actually ditched it after the first week and reverted back to 2.0.5 but i never had the same issues you experienced with 2.0.6.


    I had the odd green screen which was weird considering their latest images from 2.0.1 onwards seemed very stable although i could have installed something that caused that.. and i also had a problem with recordings doing random freezing and stopping which was also weird...both issues ceased when i reverted back to 2.0.5


    As i say i never had the device manager issue or the picon issue but i will maybe give 2.0.7 a shot when i get a chance.

  • Setanta clears in Sly box but noy in Vu+

    I was not aware setanta was a paired channel although i have not checked what other channels are paired other than the channels we know about...btw darken you wont find C7A7 in your entitlement list as that is a channel id you are looking at there.


    Also surprised it says rejected reader..i thought it might have showed (by not found) instead but i cant see what else could be blocking the channel.


    Another thing why are you using 3 groups in your user account? And darken that dyndns you have displayed..is that genuine and from someone as i have got an ip from it...not a good idea to post such information on an open forum.

    Cant quite understand myself why you are having such problems...45 posts now and still you are having issues...That is strange considering its such a simple task.


    I use bh images also..always have and never had an issue like yours carmine. Your missing hardware in the devices manager could be many things but i would check you have updated to rev C and try again.


    You can also change your picon locations..for instance at the minute although i know its not advised my picons are sitting in my hdd and thats the location i have set my software to find my picons but that can be changed to usb if i so wish..i use PTS so my hdd is always working anyway so makes no odds really.

    That version of CCcam does not look correct...2.1.4 or 2.2.1 would be better although i am not familiar with those boxes so that might be some sort of modified version for your box?

    Venton receivers are good and available from the forum sponsor also... tuners do run a little hot but they do the job well and have quite good support..i tested egami images on them which basically did everything i expected.
