Its gonna come down to your bootloader dude if you know this..afaik all open pli images work on dreambox clones but it is at the users own risk//i think you are best to get original software on that box to kill all possible bugs first and take it from there.

Even try an older version of cccam from the pli servers(2.1.3 or 2.1.4) after a factory reset

Also make sure your cccam.cfg only has the cline in===nothing else

Mate as a quick test...try a factory reset//then download cccam or mgcamd via remote from the open pli servers..what worrys me is the 1000 images you have tried..lots of images have timebombs in them especially for clones for dreamboxes.

If you have the time follow what i said in my previous post and i think you will be fine//you are on the right track using open pli on your box tho but where did you get that version of cccam?

I agree..backup cccam cfg and i would also go as far as to say that its best to install official dream software first to eliminate any rouge software that may have been installed on the box in the past(if any)

Also the cccam version you installed could have have came from anywhere.

My advice

Dreamup(serial) install official software(erase flash during process)
test it
Dreamup again and install latest open pli for your model which is currently 3.0

Install cams from pli servers too//you can also use mgcamd for your cline btw

Should be nice and clean after this and rid of any bugs that may be inside!

This can happen to almost any website on the planet if the webmasters do not keep on top of their security.

The worst case scenario here is email fraud but some people stupidly join websites and use the same login password that they use for their email. dohhhh

Open pli in my opinion is the best image for dreamboxes but have you thought about upgrading to 3.0 as it is available for your model.

Do you remember what image was on the box b4 you used open pli or was this its first flash..also is the box official or clone

I would also use an older version or at least try an older version of cccam as a test.

The reason there is no epg on stv hd is because nobody is supposed to receive it! Sly changed the symbol rate months ago outwith the reach of official stbs probably due to stv not receiving moneys...well thats usually the case anyway.However we can all receive the out of range symbol rate on our fancy open source e2 receivers:)

You also might notice the channel comes up with 3855 instead of STV HD so its more or less a test station at the minute thus the reason for no epg!!!

If its a zone 2(60cm) *** dish you will receive 13/19 28.2 obviously and even 1 west and possibly others,if its a zone 1(48cm) dish its really only any good for 28, You wont be able to diseqc motor the dish either really as you would need an 80 cm minimum for that..

If you are interested in other sats put a 1.8 channel master dish up... neighbours will be thinking you work for nasa hehe.

I have a 1.1 on the roof here and get 42 east and also get most other sats all the way round to 30 west.

I,m currently using version 4.3.0 which i installed from the tspanel on my duo...i never bothered updating it as it works fine and there is plenty of streams on it..

Snap!!! i came across this issue also on an old dbox2C a couple of years ago with a commando image.... it was only when i had a proper look in network that i noticed dhcp was not inputting my gateway for some reason and i had to do it manually..

Glad the reflash worked tho.

Yer i think the screen is too big to have a white casing..defo looks better in black but i certainly would,nt say no to 1 no matter what colour it came in!!!

The white remotes tho look more classier than the black ones in my opinion

Did you put the libusb/pcsc version in? try this binfile from mine.. unzip and send it to var/bin and rename it to oscam only...if that does,nt work you will probably need to delete the reader from your config and redo the reader.

Try the i686 oscam binary to var/bin...thats what i use in debian...you will probably need to start oscam via putty or something if you dont have a start script in place..

also make sure the bin is renamed to (oscam) and chmod your new bin to 755
