    Try that

VM / nagra 3 has been open for a long time and i mean years not months, but it's not public, rather in the hands of large server farms.

    This is August not April!!!!

Virgin Media is not cracked/hacked in any form and neither is Nagra 3 as we know it....the Americans and the Portuguese have came closest so far due to the rom/revision of their cards but have so far failed!

The chip on Virgin Media cards are much different from most countries and i have to say probably the most secure.. so you could say its nagra4 in the uk and not nagra3..all of which is irrelevant as nagra 3 means nothing really..its just the rom/revision/chip that is on the card..Nagra 1/2/3/ (4) is just made up changes in the hacking world.

Canal+ in Spain use the exact same rom/revision/chip as the uk cable network and i can assure thats not open either.

As a test if anyone has a lijitimate virgin subscription go into the official stbs engineer menu and check what revision your card returns..i bet it is Rom180 and the important part the revision being (Mer 000) which is the revision used since the new encryption/card was launched in 2009(dual seca and nagravision) otherwise known as (Merlin)..any sniff of a hack and Kudelski would have at least of upgraded the revision dont you think?..i also bet its using the same keys for the last 4 years as there would be no need to change them but as the card is secure their is no possible way to check that.

Some people seem to think that because of starview and kryptview boxes being available since 2009 that the encryption is busted wide open but that is complete nonsense because if you troll the net regarding these junk boxes you will find out that there is many complaints regarding glitching which in my book points towards overloaded cs servers!!

I really do think that people who say this and that is cracked on a whim actually need their own heads cracked!!!!

hi lads just be told by my mate whos mate works for VM thats nagra 3 is cracked and its been running for 3 months,I just wanted to know if anyone els has herd anthing or couls be bull AGIAN LOL.
    thanks

Yep muzz a rumour i,m afraid buddy and your mate that works for virgin even if senior staff would not have that information if it was true.

would the vu+ solo HD be in the same league as the above mentioned, I can see those selling for about £110

That will be a clone at that price which is a risk and probably why nobody has advised it..you can buy an original vu solo from the website sponsor for £179.99 - £10 if you order before the 18th of august when you use the discount code which is posted on the sponsors section.

Due to the lack of ram memory in the solo you will have to use an external hdd or a usb pen to store epg etc

Not found/rejected can mean a few things mate..are you sure these channels are actually active on the cards subscription?

Ive bought Italian card oscam cant see the entitlements once i start it. this is a copie of oscam webinfo

    2013/08/12 23:27:38 B76004F8 r ***it [pcsc] no boxID available

*** italia cards require a boxid added to your reader because oscam wont do this so add a boxid to your reader setup..either get that from the official stb or just add 12345678 or 87654321

    2013/08/12 23:27:34 B76004F8 r ***it [pcsc] Reader initialized (device=0, detect=cd, mhz=600, cardmhz=600)

If your using an omnikey you wont get speeds higher than 5mhz so Change your mhz to 500

Also you can change your cardmhz to 357.

A lot of these cards are being sent killer ecms and i beleive it is prepay italia cards in particular that are being targetted so i would post up your configs anyway like Master G has said.

I was thinking of getting a satellite box. but now as you said *** are going to be changing their decryption to stop card sharing, I am thinking I would just be best to buy a freeview satellite box?

Every provider will introduce anti cardsharing measures on their encryption at some point but dont let this put you off buying a proper linux receiver!!!openboxes are not open source so steer clear m8

There is so much to offer on linux capable boxes that i cant even think of them all in 1 post...for a start some boxes have interchangeable tuners and also massive support...plugins etc.

    MK

It is basically binary values but yes there is no need for anything else other than an ecm header whitelist as this cancels out all unwanted requests completely if setup correctly.

You are always best to setup and create any list like this via your own oscam log as everyone has different packages...

You can go here btw for a services list and convert it into an ecm header whitelist=== http://kos.hdsat.pl/ these lists will be for all channels possible on whichever card/package you are looking for and some will/could be wrong and outdated so it kinda defeats the purpose but still worth a gander.

It would be interesting to know if anyone has tried a proper vpn subscription with this..it has been a long time since i messed with this type of streaming but i remember using vpngates which was superb..

Can anyone having any difficulties try a test and report their findings.

    MK

Yep i agree with deerhunter..dreamboxes are over-rated and overpriced..they are lacking behind other e2 boxes so much so that dreambox are launching new models with better hardware components.

You can buy an original vu solo for about the same price as a dm800 clone and the solo has far better specs and support.

Just comes down to your budget which vu+ receiver you choose to buy.

    MK

Tried that as well, no luck. But thanks!

It definately sounds like a driver/bootloader issue to me but it looks like you have explored all avenues regarding installed software...its a pity you cant try a friends remote? i take it you have contacted your supplier...?

I also dont think this model is cloned so its not as if you have received a dodgy clone!!!

When it comes to vu they are defo solid boxes but i suppose a hardware issue is possible with the remote or even the receiver....

What image are you using...latest bh?

Maybe try bh2.0.4/.running the box with original vu software is a good way to test how your receiver performs first tho especially the remote.

I heard this was happening a few days ago..i have not had the time to check this out yet but it looks like badr(26 east) is still showing 1-10 sd..

I used to get this satellite on a 1.1 motor although a 1.2 would be advisable..a smaller dish like a 1.0 might get it fixed if it is still on the same beam that is.

Will have a look and post back.
