Did android ever get a full release on the Zgemma H9.2H SE? ?
Or was it all sales bull? :)

I noticed this when I had an octagon last year.
Brilliant box but the slow-motion for a brief second drove me mad.
Some suppliers sat that's just how the new boxes are.
Does anyone know of a fairly new box that does not suffer from this ?
Interesting post.
I think i had one of the Octagans last year and was a bit miffed at the slight slow motion when changing channel.
Maybe this is the Hisilicon CPU's?
Ironically I am looking for a new box now but do not want the slow mo issue. It' drove me mad last time.
Gutted as I was just going to order one of these from WOS. :(
How do you use the mytvapp?
No explanation or guidance or links.
Wish you guys at octagon would at least point to a url or add some info.
New app on the main menu is free tv. Now asking for a pin. Anyone know what it is?
Thanks.
I would like to add a custom image to the boot and custom Portal url as default. Can it be done via this on Mag 322?
Many thanks.
Can this box have multiple images to boot from. I want to be able to use 2 different ones.
Cheers.
I know this is an old post and i wish i understood it :( lol.
I managed to get one of these when on sale at £55 from a uk vendor.
I already have an Xtrend et8000 and the Amiko was going to be used as a bedroom unit.
Despite getting past Oscam i found the unit to crash the spark menu when skipping channels and also audio delays when using OSCAM.
WIth no other way to runa Ccam line i am having to return the box.
Shame though, as on paper its a great box.
Just a heads up that the xtrend ET8000 you linked to in the previous post only has one satellite tuner and one cable/terestrial tuner (you can't watch one sat channel while recording another sat channel unless its on the same transponder)
From your previous posts, you have indicated that you would prefer a twin tuner and
This version of the xtrend ET8000 has all three tuners (although more expensive though):
http://www.world-of-satellite.…0-2x-DVB-S2-1x-DVB-C-T-T2
Whilst debating which tuner i realsied i rearely record on my sat box and have managed fine with a single tuner for almost 2 years as i use a Minix z64 kodi box for lots of stuff.
I just made sure i can have cable and sat and the ability to add a tuner later if needs be.:)

Many thanks to all those who posted and helped .:)
this works with solo2
usb cable tuner DVBSky T330
about 39 quid
Cheers Davvo but i don't fancy messing about with usb tuners.I want it all inside inc the HDD. Messed with DVB-C USB years ago.:)
solo2 great box
but the remote that comes with it sucks
add another 25 quid to get the new style remote
that works with all vu models
Genuine VU+ Duo / Duo2 / Solo / Solo2 / Uno / Ultimo
My Vu+Solo served me well, and i agree the remote was terrible !:(

Not gonna lie my heads spinning with all the choice. Vu+Solo 2, Gigablue, Mutant.
The LX3 is off the table though as none left lol.
Anyone got a Box that does cable and sat and takes a internal HDD?
For £209 it's got to be solo 2, it's for nowt at that price, stick hdd I it for 30/40 quid, job done
It was my number one choice for quite some time, but some of the others have a cable tuner as well as a sat one and I do move about quite alot due to work etc.
So much to choose from though tbh. Mutant or LX3 box seems the better option.
Liking the mutant 2400 but ouch...£308! :)
Display MoreThe twin is a several years old, I'd avoid that. If you want a TM, get a 3T Combo.
The LX3 is on special offer at the moment with three sat tuners for £209.
Other contenders (not in budget range) are:
Mutant 2400
Duo2
Xtrend 10k
Xtrend 8K
The LX3 looks good, but useless with 3x Sat tuners for me.
I am liking the look of the TM-Nano-3T-Combo-3 Tuners 2 Satellite +DVB T/T2/DVB C very much.
I would not normally go for a 3 tuner box, but i do move about and if it has a cable tuner as well as sat then i will use it eventually.
Having had a Vu+Solo for some time and just this week the excellent Zgemma s2(bought for a friend.I simply set it up tbh) i am now wanting a non budget sat box for myself.
I wamt to mount a hard drive internally and not externally.
For me i like Enigma based boxes.
My budget is up to £250.
I have been looking at the TM-Twin-OE 500GB Technomate box as well as Vu+Solo 2.
Twin Tuner preferred.
Also the remote must be half decent. No more pointing the remote at every angle in the world to turn the station over ! :)
Any suggestions? I will buy it from WOS or similar.
Sorry but the LX has no buttons at all on the unit so not an option. I was looking at the Zgemma star and came across this advice "menu-setup-system-user interface (just go up from a/v settings)-button setup" does anyone know if I can change the front panel volume buttons to do channel up/down using this - in which case it would do the job adequately.
Also can someone confirm the Zgemma will definitely record HD channels to the external HDD?
Zgemma records HD to the HDD.
Go with the Minix X8-H Plus, i have both the Minix and the Wetek and find the Android side of the Wetek not up
to the standards of the Minix.
In fairness gaz31, they are both different. The Minix is only and android box and no satellite side of things. Minix also has new units that are more powerful than the x8-h.
