top image championc, best image i have used so far the A2.
Compared to other images it feels stable and very responsive but the only issue a have now is stopping a recording!
when recording a program if i want to stop recording before the end it wont? is this due to the timer function or a bug?

I having the same issue with this image but OK on spark!.
While recording a $ channwl I can't watch a 2nd $ channel, I Dont get picture. The box looks like its switching to tuner B and tuner config is set up as single tuners? But I can watch free channels while recording.
Any ideas?

so my PKT image is running fine and i am able to record fine, but no watch a channel and record another. cant seem to get my 2nd tuner in sync, can anybody assist or let me know when im going wrong. i only use 28.2E.

Have you set the tuners correctly?
Tuner B set to single 28.2
Tuner C set to single 28.2?
Do you have the spark E2 upgrade plugin.
If not i have attached the latest plugin pack which has the latest oscam, E2 upgrade and MCAS plugins.
Once e2 upgrade plugin is installed, run it and use the e2 backup utility which will back it up to your HDD/USB drive for future use.

I'm having the same trouble on the new Hyperion V3 Image I've tried 2 different Oscam's they both clear the channels but black screen.
I had a quick go last night and couldn't get my line to work on V3, I'm using the latest oscam whick looks like its connecting but no picture!
I did FTP into the box and it looked like it was missing some files in the var/keys folder, can anyone else confirm this?
I did have time to have a good look!

this is the first E2 image working well on my Amiko Alien2,in the last 6 months I just used Spark after too much frustration and a family furious with my toy, they just want to watch tv of course...
Anyway, one thing I could not properly fix was a frequent green screen and reboot just zapping from one channel to another. The crash log said "unhandled DVBAPI Video Event 12", or sometimes event 5, sometimes 9. It seems ok now after stopping the info bar from showing up when changing channels. Any idea of what the problem is ?
Another issue with TSmedia: if I try to update from 2.8 to 4.2 in TSmedia update menu, it will just download the ipk but no installation. If I try to install manually I get:

If I just ignore it and copy the usr folder via ftp, TSmedia 4.2 starts and works normally except that after approx 1 minute any livetv (e.g. BBC on FilmON) will halt and go back to the menu. It does not happen with 2.8.
Suggestions anyone ?
Not sure on th TSmedia issue but might be able to help on the Green screen!
FTP in to the the box and delete the dvbapi file in the var\keys folder.
See how you get on!
i have loaded this image before with no boot issiues, however I have just done another installation on a new box of the same type and I am getting the boot issues, the only thing I have done differently is that im upgrading before configuring the box now im gpoing to configure the totally then do the upgrade last. I will let you know

I am at the moment, i gave up with your image after 5 re-flash's and downloading 2 different images From different places.
2298 has the fix. The download was v 2290
Update from 2290 to 2298 does not work, tried image numerous times but everytime after update box goes into boot cycle!
And this is straight after fresh install!
Any chance someone can do a backup of the image with the latest firmware update and post it? having issues with updating from 2290 to 2298. box gets stuck in boot cycle evertime and i have reflashed 4 times. I have downloadrd the image a few times thinking it was corrupt!

I have removed the ymod oscam plugin from my PKT image without installing another emu plugin, this now has caused my box to cycle reboot!
Can i stop the EMU manager via telnet or other means because i can't get into the menus as it is constantly rebooting!
Or can someone provide me with the oscam files for install or let me know where to get them?

For anyone having trouble loading the image onto the box make sure you install with a usb stick using the REAR usb port. I have noticed a few images will not install correctly using the e2upgrade plugin from witin spark.
yep i noticed this, doesn't install from the rear as well!!
championc image installs a treat but the update lets it down. think i'm going back t HDMU as these images a not the best!

Tried power reboot but still the same. Image version is 2290 on install and update is 2298. I have downloaded the image twice and tried installing 4 times but every time boot cycles. If I don't update it's ok but I want the judder fix. Does it create a crash log when boot cycling? Cheers
I have an GI Avatar2 and when i want to update to the newest actualization firmware, all goes fine but after robooting it wrote on panel updating then it goes back to reboot....Is there any solution plz?
Also can i have alternative softcam because it isn't found in the plugins list

I have an Alien 2 with championc Hyperion v2 image but having problems.
1st issues i had was after fresh install and updating box firmware it kept rebooting constantly.
I didn't do anything like install plugin or change any settings apart from box update!!
The 2nd issue was, after setting up the box ie service scan, crossepg, autobouquets, etc, i rebooted the box but now the box keeps rebooting with the green log screen.
I have attached the logs if someone could take a look as i don't know what i'm looking at.
I did not update the box for the 2nd issue, just set it up!

As is a previous post i'm still having trouble with my bor rebooting but this time its not after the update?????
I have done the usual service scan, cross EPG and Auto Bouquets set up and uninstalled the oscam plugin which was installed, at this point I rebooted the box and as soon as its rebooted the info banner at the bottom shows up and the box reboots.
It does green screen and i have attached 3 logs from this, could someone take a look as i don't know what i'm looking at.

wonder could you please tell me why I cannot open this image downloaded several times put in on usb stick and into receiver started up from rear switch holding ok into force then right button as usual all I get is fact and t to that's it usb does start then stops checked to see if file is right it has the two it should have but also one other file which I have never experienced before any help please

Use the Spark E2 upgrade plugin but make sure you have the latest Spark image 1.2.68. and the latest plugin for E2 upgrade.

There are a few things that could be causing the problem, incompatible plugin or skin but if you have not changed any of this there are a couple of other things that you could try. 1. download a fresh copy of the image in case the one you have is corrupt. 2. make sure your spark image is up to date ( I believe that there was an improvement to the spark image that makes loading enigma more stable). Go to the Amiko site and get firmware 1.2.51_E2_Boot_Upgrade, I guess you would have to load the latest spark image after that, I have not gone through that process so don't know if the boot upgrade is included in the later images so to be safe I'd flash that one first then the latest one, and then try to flash enigma again.
Spark is on 1.2.65 so thats not the issue!
I cant be bothered waiting 4 hours to download the image again from rapid share.
If anyone has the image cam the dropbox it or google drive it?
Has no one had this issue?

The only time I have ever experienced the reboot cycle it was down to an incompatible plugin. I would suggest removing any plugins installed and then try the online update. I was able to remove the offending plugin on mine via ftp but timing is tricky otherwise reflash again. I cant remember which plugin it was though.
