Unfortunately I don't know much about that.I remember the first vm image had instructions about that and where to put them.Any help would be appreciated .Cheers!

Just an update.Took the renderers and converters out of the old vm skin and added them to the new one.Worked a treat !!
Afternoon.On a personal note,I have a Solo2 set up running the latest Blackhole image which includes XBMC /Kodi which has loads of addons for films,sport etc.A lot of them are geo blocked in this country so a VPN is in order or just set up a proxy which myself and many others did to use 1Channel which is still running sweet 2 years down the line.I have a coax feed to my bedroom and a Faval ir extender so I can change channels from upstairs.I had to use a Mercury rf modulator for the coax from the Vu as there is no rf output but the picture is very good.Obviously as you have stated your family member has a big area to feed to but I think it is doable.Just a little input to get you going
Morning.Just installed this lovely skin in Blackhole openmultiboot no probs but for the life of me I can't get the what's on next to come up on the epg on the now/next boxes.Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?Meant to say Blackhole 2.1.7 in flash,OpenPli 4.0 in multiboot
Evening guys and Dolls!I have been using the normal skins on Blackhole for sometime now but I've decided as the new BH 2.1.7 release has HD skin as standard I want to install the forum HD plugin but I can't find any ipk file apart from within the old plugin which has been great.Been a long day at work and I can't see the wood for the trees so it's probably under my nose.Any help would be appreciated.Cheers!!
Well if you've had your Solo for some time you must have enjoyed the quality of Vu,therefore I recommend the Solo2.I have had mine coming on 2 years and it's been brilliant!It has all the attributes you've mentioned and it's down to £209 at WOS.Enough said.
I'm using black hole image
All I can find in black hole addons plugins is
Vhannibal autosetting v1.1 Ipk packages black hole e2
Not sure if that will do the job .
Just download an ipk file from the link Master G has posted.I use the one in post #14 and it works as I like it.Transfer the file to your temp folder.Then go to Menu/Addons/manually install ipk packages and press ok.It will install the Addon.Then when the box has rebooted the plugin will show in your Blackhole green panel.Open it up.Press menu button.Set your region and then press the green button.It takes under a minute and "Hey Presto!"Your bouquets will be nice and neat with all the up to date channels.
Make sure you haven't got any more USB devices connected.Format USB to fat32.Copy Vuplus folder to USB.Power off box.Insert USB in front USB port.Power on.Upgrade is done when upgrade completed message is displayed.
Is it a Duo or Duo2 as you have posted in Duo2?If it's a Duo2 you need to press the blue power button on the front display
If you have auto bouquets just run that.It will replace the old transponder settings.If not and you have done a rescan the new scan results will show when you open your TV guide.Press up/Green button/scroll down to 28.2-New.They should be there.Just add them to your movies and delete the old ones.Autobouquets is the easier option!
Tried them all and they all have their little querks but always end up with Blackhole.:80:
As the lads have said the easiest way is transfer the forum ipk file to your Zero and install your cam from the plugin.The cam config. file is already in there so there is no extra work to do
Well done!Got there eventually.All part of the learning curve.Yes just do a full back up to either usb or if you are connecting a hard drive save to that.Jobs a good 'un!As for using a Ftp,I use Flash FXP.It's really easy to use and I preferred it to FileZilla etc.Personal preference I suppose...
Just an update guys.Don't know if it has been posted.Delete if it has.Got my email off BT today asking if I wanted to keep my package which will automatically update and from August 1st I will pay a fiver for exclusive coverage of the Champions leaugue and the Europa league unless I downgrade which will mean It's free as I'm a BT broadband customer but I will only get BT sport 1(BT Sport lite they call it)Ah well.I suppose a fiver is o.k.
Mmmm,got me there then.You could try swapping the tuner configs around.Is it just the two tuners on the box?
What tuners are you using?I have a Solo2 set up as follows.Tuner A is Advanced on my motorised dish and tuner B is set to simple single for my fixed dish.Are you just using the one dish and tuner?If so try using tuner B with your motorised dish with your settings and tuner A as loopthrough to tuner B.
Evening mate.First of all,DON'T PANIC!!!No need to factory reset.Just start from scratch.Format your usb using a formatting tool.I use the HP one.Format to Fat32.Then if you already have unzipped the latest Blackhole image(2.1.6)open that which will have the vuplus folder in.Sent that to your usb.Power off your box and plug your usb into the front usb port.Turn on your box using the rear switch and the display should be flashing 'update'.Press the blue power button on the front panel and it should say 'updating'.Wait until the display says 'updating complete'.If it does not flash up 'update' on the lcd display it has not recognised your usb.Try another usb,I use Kingstons and they give me no problems.If you get a usb that works keep it to one side just for flashing new images.The Vu boxes can be a little tempermental on usb sticks.Try that then get back to us.
Well,for anyone that's interested,after starting yesterday morning trying to install Dreamplex on my mates Solo and hitting several snags on the way,Yurieka!Ka!Ka!Ka!The journey wasn't a piece of cake like I thought it was going to be.First,I started with the Vix Apollo image keeping everything to a minimum.(Plugins mainly)I just kept the default skin,created a swap file(think the most was 128mg so went with that)installed the forum plugin and installed LraiZer Autobouquets ,Cccam 2.3.0,Dreamplex and then I thought I would put Blue Hd v3 by Rossi2000 skin on with some nice picons by Oktus.Looked good and was going ok.Dreamplex worked ok.Unpluged and took it up to his place feeling smug.Plugged it in and waited.And waited.And waited.It just kept hanging on the boot up screen or after a couple of restarts it hung on the menu screen.Maybe I had over done it with the new skin.Not so smug now am I?Back to the drawing board and this time I used the new OpenBlackhole image.I added the same plugins and kept the default skin but also added pluginskinremover to the mix and transferred a few plugins to usb.Anyways I kept getting the old GSOD so I finally put the new Blackhole 2.1.6.1 image on that I use on my Solo2.I deleted a lot of the stuff that I knew he wouldn't need on Blackhole speed up,kept the default skin,created a 512mb swap file on the mounted usb,added some picons from the BH feeds,installed the forum plugin for LraiZers ABs,cam and Dreamplex.Set up the epg to the usb stick and rebooted.Everything ran perfectly!!So I unplugged and tried again before I took it back up.Bingo!!!Everything is running like a dream!(pardon the pun!)Swap file kicks in for the ram and flash is running at 72%.Dreamplex is running great.I think he is going to be happy and so am I.Can't wait to get that even more smug look on my face.Hope that helps anyone else.Have a nice day folks!!!
Cheers for that.Can you remember what image you were running?I put Blackhole on his Solo as that's what I use on my Solo2 but I can sharp change it.Just noticed your profile.It was probably Vix!Lol!!
Yes.Thought that was the way to go.Might even try that pluginskinremover to try any free stuff up.Never used it myself.Told him to buy a better box but he's a bit of a tight git.Will have a look for him anyways.Cheers pal!
Evening people!Right,I have Dreamplex running flawlessly on my Solo2 but my mate has it on a Now Tv box and seems to be having issues.He has just asked me if it would run on his Solo?I was wondering if anyone had it running on a Solo because before I put it on for him I am having doubts about processing power/memory etc.Basically will it run?Any feedback would be helpful.Cheers
