I don't know why that is but I use Vhannibal on my motorised dish.Try that and see if it's the same outcome

I have used BH 2.1.7.1 on my Solo2 using Lraizers abs without any issues whatsoever since 2.1.7 was released.I have also set up a couple of zeros up for friends with the same image and all working so it has nothing to do with Blackhole images.Have you used backup images on all the boxes you mention? If so it might pay you to reflash and use a new image or don't use a backup image at all just add stuff that you need yourself

If I remember when I used Openpli I installed mount manager.Menu/press green button.I think mount manager is in the downloads.Download it and reboot. You'll now have mount manager installed.Just setup your device in there

Your box is limited to what it can do due to limited memory etc. therefore the Blackhole image doesn't incorporate xbmc. You can try the kodi plugin and see how you get on or TSMedia. And lastly the Solo is an HD box so you should be connecting with an HDMI lead.Makes sense don't you think?

For starters no pay server talk is permitted on this forum

Do you know how to use FileZilla? If you do you need to transfer the ipk file to the tmp folder of your vu.Then go into menu/addons/manually install ipk packages and the forum ipk should be there.Restart e2 and it should be in your plugins
Sorry Codar, crossed posts at the same time -
I have had my Solo2 for over 2 years and started having a problem with the remote.I tried several images and it didn't remedy the problem. In the end I covered the ir on the front with a piece of card as recommended on here by someone.(Could have been admin)and it worked a treat.Turns out it was my Lg tv that didn't agree with it.Got a new Samsung curved 48 inch for chrimbo and don't need the piece of card anymore.Try that and let us know

You'll not get any images for clone boxes on here mate.Must have overlapped your post Codar!

Don't think your answers have been very constructive in all the threads you have posted in as you've said exactly the same to each question. Not much festive support from you.I do appreciate the fact that Vu and Dreambox are far superior boxes as I use the Solo2 myself but if I can't help someone on the forum I don't dive in telling them to get another box.Merry Xmas!!
-
Definitely would agree with the previous posts on the Solo2.I have been running mine with the same setup as you for just over 2 years and it has ran flawlessly.Loads of support from all the image developers and with a hardrive fitted you have plenty of recording options.I use Blackhole on the main but have have Openpli with a nice S*y skin on multiboot if I fancy a change now and again. No brainer at just over £200 at the moment from the sponsor. You'll not regret it!

A quick update.I should have said usr/keys.A bit tired tonight.lol

Evening.First of all install the forum plugin. Then inside that you will find various other stuff you can add to your Vu.(Cams being one of them)Scroll down to the Blackhole cams which is quite near to the top and inside that you'll find different cams for Blackhole,Mgcamd 1.35 and 1.38.Install one of them. All the config files are already in there. Then restart your Vu.Once you have restarted your Vu press the blue and you'll see the cams installed.Press left or right until you see the mgcamd in the box and press ok to start it.Obviously you'll need something in the config file to view encrypted channels but that's how to install your cam

To get the newcamd file ftp to etc/Keys.It should be in there

I think you should have a look at the forum rules concerning pay servers.
Rule 2.If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored. -
Do you have a share of someone's set up as the cams won't do anything on their own or do you have your own card?Press blue button on Blackhole and a panel will come up with the cams you have installed.Scroll left or right to highlight the cam you want and press ok to start cam
Sorry Master G was posting at the same time

does it have a hard drive installed
If you look in the description it says "HD not included" -
BT call centre on a Sunday morning??It'll push you over the edge!!I had a router problem about six mths back and I told them as much but obviously they are reading from a script (Have you done this?Have you done that?)You know, the blatantly obvious things. In the end they sent me a new router which I had mentioned half an hour earlier in the interrogation.Enjoy your day!

Morning mate.Just got up and picked up my iPad as it's a bit of a habit and noticed your post. Before I logged on here I logged into my Lloyds account to see how much I didn't have and I logged in no probs.Have just tried other sites and everything seems ok.

Try a newer cam and let us know
-
Do you have anything in your cfg file and what Blackhole image are you using as I think you might need to use a newer version of cccam(2.2.1 or 2.3.0)

Morning! It's dead easy mate once you've done it a few times.Your box(Vu etc)will be connected to your network via Ethernet or wifi.I have mine connected via Ethernet cable which runs from my Solo2,through my living room wall and upto my bedroom where it is connected to my router. My PC is up there so I find it easier doing it that way.Steady and fast. Then you download a ftp program to your PC/Laptop.Any will do.You've mentioned a couple.I use Flash FXP.They all do the same job.Once you've entered login details usually your box IP address and Username-root,password left blank, you should be connected to your box where you can add numerous stuff.(Plugins,Channel lists etc). The Vu boxes are very easy to update and add plugins. You can add loads of stuff depending on what image you use(Blackhole,Vix,etc.)through the addons page in the menu and re flash a new image via USB so you can try different images to see which suits you best. And the best thing is there is always someone here on this forum to pull you out of the s**t!(Er,I mean help you).I highly recommend the Vu Solo2 but there are many great boxes out there so good luck and ENJOY!!
