    Sounds like you need to uninstall Freeserver and then reinstall it.You may need to go back to an earlier version to get it installed and working properly.

    I know I had a problem with Freeserver last year.Had to do a manual uninstall via Filezilla, and had to go back and try a few versions until it worked again.

    Then it was just a process of updating it.

    Worst case scenario is reinstall the image, and then install Freeserver.

    Have had Freeserver on it for a while, and have updated the versions when you get an onscreen message about a new version.

    Originally I installed it with an ipk file through Filezilla.

    You could try installing various older versions and see if one installs ok for you.

    Then you can just do the onscreen install of the latest version.


    If have it installed on Openatv 6.4 as well, which I believe is Python 2.

    I did try on Openatv 7.3 but it failed, (as did some other plugins I have) , so went back to 6.4.

    If no channels appear then isn't using service app irrelevant? Thought is was just a player.

    Using Openatv 6.4

    In some cases it's relevant for me I tell you why . If I am on with exteplayer 3 I can open VavooSID channels (Spain,France, Italy and Germany) while if i open a list of any nation .m3u I can't see the names of channels but only "2.6" and nothin happens till i switch the player to "default" in Menu/Settings/Timeshift ecc / Service App player Settings, after this I can read the names of channels in m3u lists and watch the channels , it may be strange but it works for me...

    In my case if I go into vavooSID, I see the various headers but remote stops working.

    Previously I could click into the various headers, and see the various German channels.

    Imo the channels are no longer downloading for me and others.

    Not a major problem for me as IPTVWORLD1 still working well.

    Screen is now partially transparent as well

    Your layout if different to mine on the Update Softcam screen, so could be depends what image you are using as to how it looks.

    I'm on Openpli 8.3

    Just the quick options to put Softcam.key to different places

    I used the opkg command which was posted (but now disappeared) and that installed 6.7 not 6.6.

    That was the problem.

    No option to copy and paste.I use Filezilla to upload it into the folder and now have 6.6 installed so am happy.

    If I do opkg update will it still retain the options in photo above, or lose them and revert to folders again?

    By the way, there is a message comes up within the plugin to update to 6.7

    The 2nd photo posted by Saeed Bhatti shows more shortcut options for saving the Softcam.key but we are not seeing that screen.

    Because it doesn`t autoupdate, it pulls the key from the forum, and only when a valid key is posted will the channels open.

    Keys there are posted every 3 hours or so.How long does a key last?

    Would have thought if it pulls the key from the forum, it should be viewable as they are posted so often

    I have downloaded and tried the PowerOscam and PowerNcam ones but no success so far.
