Have you tried removing your whitelist? see if it clears after that. A lot of users are not bothering with the whitelist anymore, don't have to maintain it etc...

You install the file you extracted by using winarar to the tmp folder bud, your using a old version of vix so the link I gave you is the correct version for this image.
Using a FTP program insert the ipk file into the tmp folder, then using your remote press the blue button and select vix, in here you will see the option to install local extension.This will allow you to install the ipk file, when you have done that restart your box.

No unfortunately not buddy, these are the two common locations for picons to go. The only other thing I would try is a reflash of the image or try a different one all together.

If your going to mount a usb stick buddy then put the picons on there and remove the picons folder from usr/share/enigma2.

Ok when installing picons two of the options you can use along with a FTP program are:
1. Install the picons on the internal flash memory of the box. If you choose this option you will want to place the folder named "picon" which contains all the picons into usr/share/enigma2. If there is already a folder in there named picon delete it and replace it with the new one.
2.Install the picons on a usb stick which has been mounted to your image. You will want to mount the usb stick as media/usb. When you have done this place the "picon" folder into media/usb.
Just remember your picon folder which contains all the picons should be a directory on it's own, it should not be inside a parent folder also named picon.

Just remove the usb stick from your box buddy and reformat it, then plug it back in. The ViX image auto mounts any devices when they are plugged in.

Not necessarily buddy if you read about the new pairing system. It can show all the correct entitlements without actually clearing them outside of a original sly box.

It would be good to know what exactly this issue is??
Is the only difference between the European stock and the Official Uk stock going to be that the Uk stock will have the new remote in the box instead of a voucher to claim it? Because if that's all it is I would rather have the Duo2 with the old style remote sitting in my house now along with the voucher to claim the new style when it is available rather than sitting with nothing. Plus side of the remote voucher is that you will eventually end up with two remotes. Bonus! lol
