The config folder that is already in etc/tuxbox will be the default one that is loaded when you install a cam, you will need to replace it with your own so it suits your card.

The cccam.cfg file you sent across will only work in cccam tooth, for oscam to work properly you need to add your config folder to etc/tuxbox

When you flash on the latest Vix, when it tells you to remove the flash drive and restart the box, before you do, plug your formatted (fat32) usb stick into the usb port you are going to use for it.Vix automounts the drives for you, so when you restart the box and go through the setting up process your hdd & usb stick should be showing in mount manager.

Every bit of information you need to setup your box and fix problems are all already here on the forum buddy, you need to use the searchbar and start looking through all the relevant sections to find the solutions to the problems you may have. Learning to do as much as you can yourself will be more of achievement and put you better placed in the future for changing images and updating channel lists etc. It's not really fair to ask someone to tell you how to setup your box from start to finish.

    Hello buddy,

I don't have this receiver, but having used a wifi dongle with a Vu Ultimo all I had to do to get it working was insert the dongle into a spare usb port on the box, then through the main menu navigate to the network menu, in there I used the wireless adaptor settings to insert the security key for my router etc so the receiver could connect to it.

I was able to use this option on both the Vix and Blackhole images.

    Hello buddy,

The difference will be like day & night, anything in the VU range is well worth the money. If you look at the support available here at the forum for the Vu range than you will see how popular this range is.The Duo is down is price now I would think due to the release soon of the Duo2, this does not mean though that you would not be getting every penny's worth though for your £249.

The venton boxes I can't comment on as I have never had one or don't know anyone that has, but this will be due to it being such a new box.Given time and support it could be as big as any of the others. You could at the minute on the forum win one for £7 !!!!! there is a bounus ball raffle being sold right now with the chance to win a Venton HD 3.

Gigablue again worth the money and well supported.

I would say to you buy what you can afford and will be happy with, one that ticks all the boxes for what you want it to do.

Have you tried installing by the telnet method?

Place the ipk file in the tmp folder, then start a tenet session.

Paste this command into telnet : opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/(put the name of the ipk pack here)

for example: opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-autobouquets-e2_201209301945_all.ipk
