You could always subscribe to sly buddy and then order box office as you need it.

You can use the option under menu/setup/system/hard drive/initialisation to format your hard drive, then use devices manager to mount your HDD.
-
For the sake of £6 why would you even consider the clone buddy, go for the original maxdigital. Good support available for it and you will also have a warranty.
I have seen one of these working and they are just as good as the solo.

Hello buddy,
Yes you need to unrar the file first, you will have a folder named "complete set", rename this to "picon"
If you have a usb stick mounted on your solo2 then you need to ftp the "picon" folder to media/usb, but if you store your picons on the internal flash memory it will need to be placed in usr/share/enigma2

There is a chance it is the usb stick you are using to try to flash the new image on, the vu boxes can be a bit choosy that way. Have you got another stick you can try???
-
No problem buddy and thank-you for making your intro post.Ok start by reading this tut:
http://linuxsat-support.com/vu…e-setting-up-your-vu.html
Your duo may well come already flashed with a image on it, if not this guide will get you up and running, all the latest images are here bud, have a good look in the VU section and you will find exactly what you are looking for.

I replaced my BT homehub v3 with a Netgear WNDR3700 exactly for the reason you have mentioned. Port forwarding, everything was fine on the homehub until there was a firmware upgrade. After that I could only ever get one port open.
Don't regret changing to the Netgear, can do whatever I want with it and gives no probs at all. Also very user friendly for configuring etc.

As long as you don't initialize your HDD after you flash on the new image bud you won't lose your recordings, i would install BH 2.0.1 though as this is a newer image than 2.0.0 rev A.
And yes put your usb stick in the front usb socket and power on.

If you are getting glitching bud i wouldn't think changing the version of cccam would make much difference to be honest, there would be other factors to consider first before you would try this, the first thing to check would be who you share with, it could well be that they have made changes to their server and this is now affecting you, what cam were you told to change too???
-
Hello buddy,
When you say you are trying to change the cam do you mean you want to uninstall the one you are using now and install a new one? or do you want to add another cam to your duo and know how to switch from one to the other?
Also what image have you got running on your box?
-
Hello buddy, Have a look here first:
First you need to know the basics and concept of how it works, then you can learn how to apply it to your receiver.

No, no specifics bud any decent 2.5" sata one should do the trick.
-
Test lines are how payservers get people signed up buddy, hopefully you have done enough reading on the forum to realise they are the road to nowhere.
-
Unfortunately not buddy, the solo2 can only take a 2.5"
-
What image have you got installed buddy?
If it's ViX or BH you should be able to install it through the addons panel. Or if you have Ts panel installed you will be able to install it to your box through the addons server.
