    Right I've now tried 5 USB drives and still the same outcome although once it went as far as not
    downloading rootfs it just stopped doing anything. When I open the vu plus folder there are 5 folders
    and one zipped folder which is the rootfs.tar, does that seem right.


    When you extract the main folder named "vuplus" from the zip file inside this is another folder named "solo4k" and this folder should contain 6 files in total one of them being a zip file.....


    I would try one more time with the file i have attached for you bud, just extract the vuplus folder from it and then copy this whole folder over to your usb stick to flash the solo4k with.... if that does not work then try to install build 011, for all we know there is a problem with build 012 not flashing... if someone could confirm it's working ok that would be a big help.


    Remember no other usb devices should be connected to the solo4k when flashing it.... just the usb stick you are using to carry this out.

    Press the green button on your remote to open up your plugins list, then select the coolman setup. When this opens press the yellow button on your remote, now change the option for "Start Cool Info Guide with Info/EPG Button from no to yes.... press the red button on your remote to save this option. Exit from the options page back to normal TV, long press of the epg button on your remote now opens up coolman tv guide.

    Please don't post anymore about "Gifts". The forum rules state that no support will be given to members who use payservers... Which is really what your referring too. If you want cardsharing and your cheapo tv to come to an end quicker than you think then supporting payservers is gonna make it happen!

    Yep BT in the last week has stepped up the encryption to the next level on all it's HD channels.... which means that they are no longer shareable or that you cannot use your card in a reciever to clear them other than the sky reciver the card is paired to.     Now you have to ask yourself why this happened... and if you look at what your second question contains you will see part of the problem... "which is the best CCCAM service to purchase" this is in no doubt as to why card security has been stepped up, people who use pay servers have all played a part in why the HD channels will no longer clear, please don't even consider this option!


    Motorised setup does open up a lot more options for you regards sports, but finding english commentary to go with it can be a problem. For the premier league coverage premierleaguepass was a pretty good streaming service and was in HD (you also had to use a geo unblocker to access the website) but unfortunately it will not be an option for the 2016 / 2017 season as they have not been given the rights to broadcast it this time...


    The "golden goose" as you call it... at this moment in time if it is possible nobody has disclosed yet how to do it, and to be honest if they have found a way i don't blame them for not revealing how it's done. The same thing would happen all over again, the payservers would get extra greedy selling cheap subs to anyone offering cash and then the encyption would be changed again.
