Not too sure what you mean exactly bud,do you want to make it a staic ip address?? for your box?
Probably would be better to make a new thread on the routers section in the forum,that way if i don't know somebody else will be able to help you for sure!
Here you go! extract the ipk file from the download and then ftp it to your box,put it in the tmp folder,then install it by pressing the green button then the yellow button,you will see manual install,then restart your box.
Try here buddy,failing that have you got TS panel installed??? makes adding cams etc very easy.

I tried to put in the latest Image, BH 1.7.4 in the USB but it would not accept it. Then I tried to upgrade the Bootloader with "duo cfe Rev 3.0" after that I Vu+ accept the USB with the Image BH 1.7.4. But it will not start.!!
The bootloader should have been updated first,before you tried to flash on the latest image.Try to update the bootloader again,it should do it very quickly.Then when you switch the box off let it sit for at least 5 mins before trying to turn it back on again,my own duo wll not start up immediately after being swtched on/off,i read somewhere that this is do with protecting the PSU.
When you have updated the bootloader then try as suggested to flash on the latest image with no other usb's attached to the box.
Try that and let us know how you get on.
Is this a original Vu dongle that is not working with the image?
I am using a original Vu dongle in a Ultimo running the new BH 1.7.4 and it is working no problem at all.
The only real advantage to having a dish mounted at ground level is that if something needs repaired/replaced you don't have to hang off ladders to do it,lol
Most people make the decision of where to put the dish by looking at what obstacles could be in the way of the signal,especially when using a motorised dish,most of time the dish ends up mounted high up on a wall of the house so as to avoid the rooftops of other houses close to it.If you have a spot at ground level which has a clear view of all the sats that you would like to pick up then go for it ,but the only real advantage is ease of maintenance or as you say you want to keep your dish in a discreet place.

A vuduo can run a server no problem at all,regards setting up it's all here buddy,just take your time to read how to and keep at it.
Regards a clone,if you do decide to go down that road there is support here regards a security patch which needs to be flashed to the clone duo to be able to run the latest images on it.
Clones are avaiable through a well known auction site,but i have to say that if you can afford it buy a original from our board sponsor,you will not be dissapointed buddy,it's money very well spent.
Try this ,it is a ccam cfg for newbies,very easy to follow.
I would try all the images that you can, for all the time that it takes to flash a image on it's well worth spending time experimenting,after all thats what this hobby is mostly about,trying things out and making changes or tweaking your set-up.
A image that one person might like may not suit another,so it's important that you make your own chioce to get the one that you enjoy using.

Here's the ipk file for you for TS Panel,FTP it over to the temp folder and install it.
Having this on your image will makes things so much easier for adding and removing addons.
Also it gives you access to our server,where you can install cams and plug-ins etc straight onto your box.
You don't need to flash the box again to install another cam,to remove any addon (cams ets) use TS panel if you have it installed.There is a menu on it called "uninstaller",open this and you will see a list of addons installed on your box,pick the one you want to remove and then after it has un-installed it restart the GUI.
There is one method you could try,it's quite a old fashioned way of setting up your motor but is worth a try.
In your tuner config select "advanced" for whichever tuner ( A or B) is connected to the motor,i have attached a couple of screenshots of what the options should look like once you select advanced.You will still need to input your long+lat for your location,and also have to save the sat position manually by storing it as a number ( ie. 28.2e save as postion 28)
You will need to do this for each sat that you want the motor to goto,once you have done that in tuner config then use "satfinder" to move the dish to whatever sat you want to add first,when you have searched for the sat you want to add,then go into the "Positioner Setup" to fine tune the position and then save it.
Can be a slow process but if it sets your motor up for you then well worth it. Just make sure you do a Full backup once you have all your sats installed.
Just double check in the "Advanced Settings" menu of the home hub 3 that the ip address for your box is set to static,im using one of these hubs myself with DNS updater etc and have no problems at all.
Not too sure what your setup is exactly regarding cams, are you using cccam alone or oscam+cccam??
If you are using oscam+cccam then you could try these ready made configs linked below,install this and then add your cccam cfg + oscam configs folder which hopfully you have backed up.

Only if they are all for internal shares,other boxes inside your home.
If they are c lines which connect to other servers then you would not use the ip addy of your solo,just leave them as they are.
