Sorry I did not make myself clear. I meant do I need to do anything to the download before using filezilla. if not it means I am using filezilla in the wrong way.
Is the file your downloading from here showing as a php file by any chance??? if your using Internet explorer to view the forum then change to filezilla, if thats not possible then you need to add linuxsat-support.com to the Internet explorer compatibiliy settings in your browser so that file formats download correctly.....

If you want something to work out of the box bud then go for the Vu+ original wireless adaptor.... i have one, never given any probs at all.
If you buy a box from WOS you will be guaranteed it won't be a clone bud.... You can still brick an original though!!!! If your not sure of anything before you do then ask on here....

What is it you have a paid for version of exactly??? a valid card for a provider?? sky uk for example? If that's the case then everything regards cams & configs is already here....
Now the server that you "paid" access for..... you won't receive any support here for how to insert lines etc from payservers. it clearly states that in the forum rules that you agreed too in the sign up process. The fact that the guy you gave your hard earned money too and then offered no support whatsoever should have the alarm bells ringing and prove to you that payservers are the road to nowhere.....

When I press start on the Autobouquets, it says do you want to perform a NIT Scan
It starts an execution process
From there I have to come out and go back to epg and can only view fta
Am I being naive I thought the bouquets would enable other channels
Just to add, I'm selecting no as you say in settings but on the start page it says fta and box is ticked, seems to be like this regardless of what I set.
I do see paid channels in there but cannot view them
Autobouquets is one way of giving you sly numbering on your epg bud..... it won't magically open premium channels. It has nothing to do with that. To view premium channels you either need a valid subscription card or a share properly configured in a cam (emulator).
So yes you were being very naive to be honest... Read up on the concept of card sharing on the forum.
You need to unrar or unzip the settings file first bud..... then use a program such as Dreamset or Dreambox edit to install the channel list.
Or if you want the easier way to do it install the ipk version of the settings file to your solo4k...... You can find the Linuxsat addons panel here: [DOWNLOAD] Linuxsat-Support Add-ons Panel
Installing this will make updating your settings file etc every easy.....

Erm i think this maybe the real problem here.... Test lines etc only going to work on one receiver. Think you may need to re-read the rules here bud regards payservers etc...
