    Remove the # from the DEBUG line.....

    Restart CCcam then look in /var/log/messages for debug info.. This log should get an idea what is happening to your server..

    Set DEBUG : no, when finished because these log files can get large quickly.. or you can just replace the # symbol again.

    thanks mate

    As per the forum rules bud please do not post "Thank-you" posts, they will be deleted........ they use up valuable server space. Use the thanks & like tabs (coloured green) at the bottom of the box in which a post has been made.

    I am now using OpenViX and I like it; my favourite image having tried quite a few. I pay for the C-line so I will just pay for a second to save the aggravation.

    Thanks

    CC

    Sorry bud but you have been a member here long enough to have read the rules by this stage..... we don't offer support to members who use payservers. Please if you have never done so read the rules of the forum for your own sake.

    This thread is now closed.

    The image will be your most important choice here buddy if you want it to be family user friendly..... what image are you currently using??? Openvix in my own opinion is without a doubt the most user friendly there is....

    Regards sharing a cline from your duo2 to this second box, well that depends on whether this is a line created from your own server or do you want to reshare a line that you have from a peer? in this case you would need to ask your peer if this is ok or ask them if they are willing to give you a second line......

    thanks for reply mcKee25 so I would be better of getting something like the dreambox 500s

    My advice would be to buy the best receiver you can for your budget buddy..... if you told us that we would be able to advise better...

    I know, but my system does everything i need it to do. until i cant do stuff with it im reluctant to get a new pc. so cant kodi run on my system then.

    Thanks

    Can your PC meet this minimum spec for it to run?

    Kodi needs a 3D capable GPU graphics hardware controller for all rendering. The required 3D GPU chips are common today in most modern computers, and even some set-top boxes. Kodi runs well on what (by Intel ATOM standards) are relatively underpowered OpenGL 1.3 (with GLSL support), OpenGL ES 2.0 or Direct3D (DirectX) 9.0 capable systems that are IA-32/x86, x86-64, or ARM CPU based.

    When software decoding of a Full HD 1080p high-definition video is performed by the system CPU, a dual-core 2 GHz or better CPU is required in order to allow for perfectly smooth playback without dropping frames or giving playback a jerky appearance. Kodi can however offload most of the video decoding process onto GPU and VPU hardware that supports one of the following types of hardware-accelerated video decoding: Android StageFright and MediaCodec API, Intel's VAAPI, Nvidia's VDPAU, AMD's XvBA, Microsoft's DXVA, Apple's VDADecoder/VideoToolBox, or OpenMAX. By taking advantage of such hardware-accelerated video decoding, Kodi can run well on many inexpensive and low-power systems which contain a modern GPU and VPU.

    If so you can download Kodi from here: http://kodi.tv/download/

    cheers pal, ive changed to your setting and its running sweet
    i was just thinking using the hd box as its hdmi, i have to pull an old tv out of the loft to use the scart on it

    You should be able to connect a white sly box to your TV using the RF out on the rear of the receiver..... run a lead from this to the aerial in on your TV and then tune it into an unused channel.....

    sorted now with a quick call to bt but what a ball ache trying to get a tv with a scart lead lol, is it poss i can transfer my white card to my old hd box without it pairing to it?
    also mckee does your card update itsself with your setting?
    thanks
    monki

    If everything is working with BT Sports including the HD then leave your card paired to the white box bud..... yep my card updates no probs bud.

    label = SKYUK
    protocol = internal
    device = /dev/sci1
    blockemm-u = 0
    blockemm-s = 0
    blockemm-g = 1
    blockemm-unknown = 1
    emmcache = 1,3,2
    group = 1
    caid = 0963

    This defo works with a white sly uk card bud...... you have a few extra bits in your server file that are not listed here. There maybe a chance you will have to put your card back into the sly box it is paired too until BT activate it again, this happend to me when i changed my broadnband deal with BT. I had BT sports on the sky platform before upgrade and then when the new deal took effect they automatically changed me to BT Sports online & app only. It was easy enough to revert back online. then i used live help to get the card activated again.

    using oscam works perfect on 28 degrees, but when I move dish to any other sat like 13 degrees
    it says no parse cannot emu
    how can I fix this

    All i can suggest is that you update the channel list bud.... this image was created on the 29/05/2015. If you haven't updated the channel list after flashing this image then it will be well out of date.....
