thanks
I downloaded the OE 2.0/3.0 based images, assuming its the right one.
also I don't know which channel list to download, catseye seems the latest one, but there are lots of them, and i only have a Sly dish, don't know where its pointing? im from southampton, so i will need local news etc.
Your dish is pointing at 28 east for sly uk...... catseye is one of the best lists there is buddy. When you have installed your channel list then use autobouquetsmaker already installed in the ViX image to line up your channels with the sly numbering for the region you are in.....
I would get the box first, then take it one step at a time......
Answers.....
Q1. The image itself will not have a channel list installed, it will be a fresh flash so that you can set it up the way you want it..... easiest way to get going is to install our addons panel available here: [DOWNLOAD] Linuxsat-Support-Addons you can install channel lists & skins etc directly to your receiver from the panel....
Q2. Channel lists are also available here: Enigma2 Channel List Download
Q3. Please read the forum rules..... we don't offer support to anyone that uses payservers buddy which is what your buying. Save your hard earned cash and read up on the concept of cardsharing....
Q4. No your "Gift" will not come with the emulator you need to install it in to work... and if you think that the people your considering buying this gift from will offer support once you have paid then think again..... wait until your screen starts to glitch and then goes black to you see how easy they are to get hold of.
Q5. You will be able to have a full 7 day epg by using crossepg for example which is built into the vix image.... there is also a skin called blue HD by Rossi you can install which will give you the desired effect.
sorry mckee sorted i went into initaliza did it works fine now thanks, can i ask i wanna put the 5oogig into the wd media player will it be ok after coming from the duo2 i have vix 163 installed
ok bud no problem.... your 500gb hdd will be fine to go in the wd media player, although you may need to format it first.
Maybe here...... Howto: Cache exchange via Oscam
Have a look here: [DOWNLOAD] Cool TV Guide by Coolman
and as your original problem is now sorted this thread will now be closed.....
Yes, BT Sports can be used to share..... The HD version is even better....
What box was your card in when you had the BT sports added to your card???
Display MoreActivated my 12 month mtv unlimited card yesterday but oscam is saying my entitlement expires today. Surely that's not normal?

Anyone? my entitlement has expired now and it's suppose to be a 12 month card!
Everything you have posted is perfectly normal with this card buddy...... even though you only activated the card yesterday the expiry date for 31/03/2015 is correct, the card will receive new emm's every month until your 12 month activation code expires. Watch over the next couple of days and you will see the new emm's arrive... or leave it on the MTV unlimited channel overnight for the new emm for the April expiry date to be written.
Its been working flawlessly until recently though????? The card is from dublin
May also have something to do with your other thread buddy: Sly UK card entitlements query
This DNS (abc.ddns.net) is linked to a payserver....... there is no support here for payservers buddy.
Thread closed.
Where is the cline from ????
Glad your sorted buddy, thread closed....
You could call sly, but it's a lot easier to use the online help..... saves you having to talk to an actual person and will achieve what you want to do. Tell them the HD box has packed in and you want to use your old sd box as you don't have the HD pack anymore..... Have the sd box already hooked up and running with the card in it, they will ask for serial number etc.....
Have you tried clearing the picon cache???
menu/setup/service searching/tuner configuration
what are your tuners set up as in here????
