You will not need to update the bootloader for your new solo se buddy to flash ViX Apollo 126 onto it......
That's why you can't find a newer bootloader to upgrade too.....
-
wow I got a raspberrypi but how many clins could it take
Think you mean how many "peers" not clients can it take......
Also have a look at the Vu zero, the solo is a really old spec now and more expensive than the zero......
-
If your able to login then Unbuntu has installed......
Try these commands to run the updates......
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
-
ok but what is it that you want it to do exactly..... once you run it if your using a 28e channel list it will give you sly numbering for example.
-
Not really sure what you mean here bud...... auto bouquets when you run it will pick a free tuner so that you can continue to watch while it does it's thing.
-
Have you tried initializing the HHD first before you mount it???
Press menu/system/hard drive/initialization.....
-
Yep, this started out as a request for an up to date channel list..... as already posted in this thread, if people haven't learnt their lesson by now regards buying from this outfit then on their own head be it......
Thread closed.

Think i sorted both now. Thanks for your help.
What do i do about the harddriveFollow the advice I gave you in post #6
-
If you have a fixed dish on 28e bud then you just set the configuration mode to "simple" then single, on both tuners......
-
You can post it here no problem bud, but please follow the rules for this section here: Please Read this before posting in this section
-
How exactly are the tuners setup??? please post what configuration you are using on tuner A & B..... they should be identical.
Are you using CCcam 2.3.0 ???
-
If you have your tuner configuration setup correctly then you should be able to watch one channel & record another.... are you using your own card or a share to view premium channels? if your using a CCcam as your emulator then you need to be using version 2.3.0 with the newer images.
Is the hard drive mounted correctly??? blue button twice on the remote and then select devices manager, press red for mountpoints and then choose media/hdd to mount the hdd correctly.... full restart required after that.

A quick reminder of rule <2> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.
If your about to spend up to £350 on a new receiver bud, then please don't waste anymore of your hard earned cash on payservers........ look into the concept of cardsharing......
look at a Vu+ solo2, bullet proof and loads of support for it. Available from our site sponsor at a really good price of £259 click here: World Of satellite
