Ok so they did send you a red card then......
At this moment in time there is no fix for the red card to be read in a server......

Have a read of this similar thread buddy: TSMedia v7.99 old icons in movies dont do anything when selected
Have a read of this tutorial, should be of help to you.... it's for the solo2 but there is no difference in setting it up with your duo2.
Thanks. I'll try again later. I couldn't find a cccam.cfg in /etc so I created one and changed the permissions. It didn't work.. I did start the cam though.
It states in the original post under cams that you have to add your own configs.......... I have attached a blank CCcam.cfg file for you, copy/paste your line over to it and then ftp the cccam file over to the etc folder....
Then start cccam 2.3.0
Ok.It's A solo2 se and yes I now know it's a clone. However I didn't manage to flash it with vix as it rebooted as BH.
I've shelved it for now and went back to my old f5s(it will have to do)
I will have another run at it in a week or two.(stand by for loads of questions!)
Until then thanks for your advice and merry xmas.
Sorry buddy, but due to our current sponsorship terms we do not support Vu clones here..... thread closed.
When I made this backup tsmedia 7.99 full had not been released yet......
Glad your sorted bud, I will close this thread now......
have a read of this thread buddy: How to setup peer server as 'reader' within OScam?
It's been a good while now that the HD channels stopped buddy, follow the link codar gave you in post#2........ there are loads of threads on here about it also. I am now going to close this thread now for that very reason.....
They are going to send you one of the new red viewing cards buddy...... and up to now nobody has been able to get them going in a server. The only rumour that I have read on here is to try the red card in a omnikey reader in a pc server, but nothing has been reported back as to whether it works or not.
The amount of times a share can be reshared is controlled by hops..... anything over hop 3 is going to give you problems....
But to be honest when you are sharing, unless your prepared to give a peer who you share your card with access to all the channels it opens then I think you would struggle to find peers in the first place...... choosing who you share with is the most important part of all.....
I'm not really sure what your trying to do here bud, the people you share with (your peers) will control the reshare of the lines they give out at their end..... if someone gives you a line which allows reshare up to hop 3 then that's up to them. You can decide yourself whether you give reshare from your own card (local) to your peers. Are you trying to control what shares you give out even though they are not all yours to begin with????
it's the converted one buddy..... the same you would use in cccam. But you don't have any spaces between the numbers like you would in cccam.
Long shot here, but try adding the boxid to the oscam.server file
boxid = xxxxxxxx
and remove the whitelist......
Give it a go bud..........
Do you mean your peers are not connecting to you??? if so is your DNS up to date......
So how do you activate a new card with Oscam without it taking the new pairing method?
Engineer menu on an old SD box?
Yep you could try that first..... another option is to use the live chat help on the sly website or call them......
Certainly sounds like you have pressed the radio button, look for a button with Tv on it.......
If you have installed a full motor channel list then you will have a list for 1w........ remember to change your tuner config for the setup you have (usals) or will have when you have the dish setup. Your better to align the dish on 1w so that when the motor starts to turn it follows the arc correctly...
Ok the most important thing to remember when you are setting up the dish mount is that it's plumb....... the use of a inclinometer is a must if you want to make the job very easy.
When you have your dish aligned to 1w and your getting a good signal on the sat meter then go inside to the box and goto the 1w channel list.... pick a fta channel. If the dish is aligned correctly then you will be able to view that channel no probs. You don't need to send the dish to 1w as it's the sat your setting your dish up on.... and yes you will need to be on 1w to be able to download epg data for it.
Hello buddy, it's not a good idea to put your actual co-ordinates on the internet....
ok you don't put a minus sign..... for your long put two zero's first 00x.xxxx (west) for your lat put 0xx.xxxx (North)
