If you only have one feed coming from the dish to your box then with the setup you have you will only be able to record two channels broadcasting on the same transponder...... that's why your seeing a lot of channels greyed out when you start to record......

If you can consider changing the single lnb to a twin, and run a second feed through to your box... will open up a lot more options for you.

Hi Mckee25 .. I have cam 2.011 installed and I have not tried to record more than two channels yet.. once I tried with one and I encountered this problem I stopped the recording.

Ok the reason I asked is that with the newer images BH & ViX etc when changes where made regards the kernel version only CCcam 2.3.0 will work to be able to watch a premium channel & record another..... try the recording of two fta channels first, if that works then change the cam to 2.3.0

Can I pair it using their website to activate channels? The serial number on the system details screen is 10 digits. Do I insert a zero at the start to make it 11 digits?

Use the live chat on the sly website...... does the same job as calling them and a lot easier to use as well.

I'm going to be honest with you buddy.... I think your using a payserver.... and if your not then I apologize.

But the problems your posting have all the traits of what happens when you do use a payserver...... it's the road to nowhere. Have a good read of the forum in particular the card sharing section.... put your hard earned cash into buying a card to share....

If your still getting glitching etc after having moved broadband provider then I very much doubt it's to do with your router...... and can't see what difference a cat6 cable will make....

I take it your connected to a server to receive the premium channels???

Is it settings for port forwarding that you are looking for???? not really sure what it is your looking for buddy to be honest....

What router do you have? which receiver? unless your going to be running a server from your receiver then just connect it either by an Ethernet lead or wireless connection and let the router should do the rest.....

Is that not an ultimo remote you are trying use , you would need to change the box to the ultimo code but i have my doubts that it will work but worth a try , look at the ultimo and solo 2 user guides and give it a shot , make a backup first and transfer it to a flash drive so you are prepared for issues if you get any

Also from memory to use the keyboard on the back of the Ultimo remote I think you had to press the unlock button first..... think that button is beside the CAPS lock button, has a symbol of an unlocked padlock on it.

You should be able to see your CCcam webif by typing: http://ipaddyofyourduo:16001/

The port number 16001 is the default for CCcam..... if this has been changed then use the new port number in place of it in the web browser.

These four lines should be in your CCcam cfg file if you wish to change anything from the default settings....

    ALLOW WEBINFO: yes
    WEBINFO USERNAME : your choice
    WEBINFO PASSWORD : your choice
WEBINFO LISTEN PORT : 12345 (for example)

Most E2 receivers can record, whether it be through an internal HDD which you have to install or by using an external HDD connected by a usb port......

The receiver itself doesn't actually pause..... it's the image that is flashed onto it which will have the timeshift facility built into it..... with ViX for example you just press the pause button on the remote and it starts the live pause automatically...
