Follow the instructions posted by master G, 64 bit processor should make no difference..... when you have completed this FTP the attached file I have posted for you (which is already edited) to etc/opensc
Do a reboot, and then type sudo lsusb you should see the omnikey reader listed.......

Exactly...... you have learn't the hard way buddy...... Parting with your hard earned cash to a payserver, and what have you ended up with???? a black screen........
Please take cazuela's advice and have a look at the concept of card sharing.
On the blackhole image bud, after you FTP the ipk file over to tmp..... press the green button on your remote followed by the yellow. Install local extension.....
Who's your provider?????
Are you able to access lcd4linux through your web browser????
If your running ViX your are able to do this through the open webif........
I have attached a screenshot for you, you need to select modus/idle then lcd display, then change to off.
What version is the webif showing buddy?
Also for vix if is possible please!!
You can easily update the oscam version in vix.... I have attached the correct version of oscam for you.
FTP into your box to usr/softcams rename the oscam version in there to oscam.old
Then FTP over the attached version, restart your cams and check that all is working ok.....

If you think the duo is a clone and you have flashed it with one of the new images then more than likely it's been hit with a clone bomb..... Unfortunately with it being a clone box we are not able to offer you any support for it buddy due to our current terms with the site sponsor.

FTP the picon folder to usr/share/enigma2 or if you have a usb stick mounted FTP the folder to media/usb
You will need to reflash your box with the standard version of ViX Apollo for this skin by rossi to work.....
Press blue on your remote, select ViX, then image manager. Yellow button for downloads, 11th one down the list is what you want..... green button to download it. When that has completed you will see the image you just downloaded in the image manager list, select it and it will start the reflash process for you, it will create a settings backup for you before it flashes the new image on.
The image you should choose is the one that suits you best...... try them all then decide which one you like the best. That's the beauty of this type of box, you can try out different images and if you don't like it or it doesn't fulfill what you require from it then you can change it within a matter of minutes.
Have you another usb stick that you can try to flash the image with? just a thought...... it wouldn't be the first time that someone has had a similar problem and used a certain usb stick to flash their box many times successfully, but all of a sudden it just won't do the job anymore......
Also try the attached program to format the usb stick first before copying the file over to it.
The genuine Vu wireless dongle is very reliable buddy, I have used it with a Ultimo/solo/solo2 & solo se...... never given any bother at all.

In all honesty bud, if you have a full backup made of your box then for all the time it takes flash it back on I would do this.......
When that is completed do as master G has suggested and install the Blue HD skin by rossi 2000 directly from the openvix feeds.
menu/plugins green button to download plugins.... skins/blue HD
ViX Helios is no longer supported anymore buddy, you need to upgrade to ViX Apollo.....

The connection on it are as follows
1x Composite (CVBS)
2 x F-Type (1x Loop)
1x Coaxial S PDIF
2x USB 2.0
1x HDMI
1x RJ45
1x RS 232
The TV I want to connect it to only has a scart and then the yellow/red/white connections
The box above doesnt have a scart connection so I wondered will this box hook up to my tv via the red/yellow/white connections?
Hope someone can answer this for me

If you want to go back to the start, which from reading this post might not be a bad idea...... Then re-flash the solo2 with a fresh image....... you don't say which image you had running on it, ViX / Blackhole or openatv for example...
