Check in your router settings that another device is not conflicting with the ip addy that the solo4k is using...

You need to tell sky when your ordering skyq that you require a legacy lnb to be fitted so that you can still connect other receivers.... they will only do it if you ask them too.

I am selling my Vu+ Duo 2 due to upgrading to a solo 4k box....
Receiver is in mint condition (Box Fresh) and comes with all accessories. It is fitted with a 2.5 sata HDD (120gb) and it comes with one duel sat tuner and one single sat tuner (which has a loop out).
It was bought July 2013 (when first released in UK) from WOS...
Price £220 this includes next day delivery in Uk & Ireland. Europe or anywhere else then i will have to get a price for postage first...

Sounds like the receiver is going into deep standby.... try pressing the power on button on your remote for a few seconds in the morning to see if it brings the receiver back on.

What is the number of the VIx image you are using bud??? build 028 is the latest.

Keeping your image up to date when updates are available should ensure you have the latest drivers etc....

If you downloaded oscam from the VIX feeds bud then there will be no config files in the tuxbox folder.....
You can find ready made configs here for most cards... Forum: Oscam Configs
I think you can use a version of filezilla on the mac system... this will allow you to FTP files over to your box. You need to navigate to var/tuxbox/config then in here you ftp over your oscam conf/user/readers files.

Thanks, those look good. What about the vu zero?
Vu+ Zero very good box for the money bud.... takes you to the top end of your budget at £99 but worth every penny considering the amount of support by all the image makers for Vu.

Ok download the ipk file for the Linuxsat Panel... you want the one that is ends all.ipk
When you have downloaded the ipk file to your pc or lappy use a FTP program (Filezilla for example) to send the ipk file over to your box... place the file in the tmp folder.
When you have done that press the green button on your remote then press the yellow one... you will see a option for install local extension. Highlight that option with your remote and press ok, you will then see the ipk file you sent over to the box. Install the ipk file and then do a restart of the box. Linuxsat Panel will now be installed.
