No bud, whatever you do don't try to use a settings backup from a solo2 on a duo2..... it could possibly have dire cicumstances for your duo2. Same way you wouldn't flash a duo2 with a solo2 image....
You could try one of the many backup images on the forum for a duo2 if you do not want to setup from scratch, but setting up from fresh is a good way to keep your knowledge etc going...
-
Yes it is possible bud..... guide attached.
-
Cables remain the same, you can keep a second stb but only if they fit a legacy lnb when doing the sky q install otherwise it's a sky q setup only...

What browser have you having this problem with bud???

Honcho thanks alot dude, Never heard truer words spoken, And moffi, Yes that was a prety pointless answer, Why would i be on a CS forum asking for help if i was happy to pay stupid bills, Not gonna happen, All i was simply asking was how to setup oscam on a duo, Do not need stupid replies like yours, This is a place we come to help each other not put each other down, You seem like you have a real negative attitude, I feel sorry for ya dude,
Cazuella, Ive tried the line in a zgemma s2 and works fine, not a single glitch,Moffi was only offering his opinion bud.... something which every member is entitled to do on here. You may not like it but thats life.
Also in your original post there is no mention of you asking how to setup oscam on your duo..... all you said was " I was told use oscam but have no clue how to do this" If you want to give oscam a try then head over to the oscam support section or the tutorials is an even better place to start. The searchbar on the forum is also a great tool to find out how to do most things.

Power the box down..... turn it off. Then reflash the image.

The duo2 is a good choice bud... The VU brand is very well supported by all the image makers, you should try all the images out before sticking to one. If the spec of the box meets all your requirements and your happy to spend what you have in your budget then the Duo2 is a good choice.

It's the cam itself which works out the best line..... if your a client only to your friends server then all you can do is add your c lines to the CCcam cfg. file
When CCcam is running it will pick the line with the fastest response to the ecm you require for the channel you are trying to clear.
How do you know it's not a fault at the server end??? did your friend tell you that?

It's the white card that you pair to the older SD receivers..... the red card can be paired to a new box (HD receiver) and will work in a third party receiver using the boxkey from the sky box that you paired it to in your cam configs.
-
thanks Jensen box arrived ok well pleased
Nice one bud... as you are happy with the transaction i will close this thread now.

Your red card being paired to a Sky HD receiver should not have locked it to that receiver..... the only thing you must do when using your red card in a third pary receiver/server is add the boxkey to your cam configs....
