No, no problem rami. It's just you had put uno in your reply. This is for a Vu Duo. Didn't want the original poster to get confused...

If you were already running ViX 3.0 808 you had the latest bootloader installed and will not need to do this again.

I have attached ViX Zeus 011 for you, just reflash your Duo in the normal way, or if your not sure follow this tutorial: How to flash a Vu+ Duo by USB

The two I had were: Alsat Supreme Intelligent LED DiSEqC DarkMotor All Metal Gears

But I put it down to the size of dish on it, A triax 110 is quite heavy...

You should be having no problems at all with a Gibertini 85.

What size dish do you have on the dark motor bud???

I was using a Triax 110 on mine when I had it.... dark motor gave me nothing but trouble with this size of dish attached. Done exactly what you are describing now and needed a push start to move at all after being left on 28e for a while. I replaced it with a technomate 2600. It has never gave one bit of bother....

p.s I had two dark motor's, both did the same....

Bought a slybox on gumtree fell for yr sub,,,then when i went to update off website realised mine was a clone found out 80% of these boxs are clones
problem with update saved up again, got a technomate - nano excellent for 1st timers £120 and 6months £25 ,,,I did tell gumtree about the scams going
on with ***boxs dont buy one i had the man i bought it off back to mine with another fella trying to give me greife lucky for me i got my money
due to having family around they had a word with the bloke from manchester and he indian freind they decided to give me the money back if you no what i mean

I take it you have read the forum rules that you agreed to when you signed up here: remember this one....

<2> If you are the supporter of a Pay Server DO NOT ask for support, your request will be ignored.

Payserver supporters are going to be the end of this hobby buddy, as we now know you are using a line in your technomate nano from a payserver no further support will be given to you.

Ok lads, this thread has come to a end now.... considering the original poster is not even involved in replies anymore I don't want this to become a slagging match between good members here. I appreciate there is a difference of opinion here but let's just leave it at that....

    let's be friends :shake:

Make sure the stick is formatted to fat32 before you plug it in, when you have done this press the blue button on your remote and select Vix. Press the down arrow and select mount manager, in here you should see your HDD & usb stick and what they are mounted as.... the mount for the usb stick should be media/usb.

If the usb stick is mounted correctly then you will need to add your picon folder to it by ftp, when you have done this restart the box. To change where your epg data is stored go to menu/setup/system/epg/settings you can change the first setting for epg location to media/usb.

The most important part here is to make sure your usb stick is mounted correctly, Vu can be quite fussy about the make etc. Vix image automounts the hdd & usb for you so you just need to double check that it has mounted it to the correct location.
