Did you do a full restart after making the changes.... it would be worth your while investing in a usb stick to save all your epg data & picons too. Also setup a swapfile as this will help lessen the load should your ram be close to maxing out.

Yes as long as you make a "full" backup of the image....
-
If you can connect by ftp download the picon folder from the hdd to your desktop before you delete it...
Then if you want to install picons from a addons panel to the internal flash then go ahead.
-
You need to FTP into your box and check bud,
If they are installed in internal flash you will see the picon folder in usr/share/enigma2
Or if they are on your HDD you will see the picon folder in media/hdd

Yes, make a full backup of BH 2.0.9 and then download this from your Duo to your desktop for safe keeping. Flash on the Vix image and try it out, if you like it you can also make a full backup of this and again download it to your desktop...
Once you have flashed on the Vix image if you decide it's not for you then it's just a matter of putting the BH full backup onto a usb stick and re-flashing the box as per the normal way....
-
Ok so you have two options here....
1. Install the picon folder in the internal flash memory of the box. If you don't have many plugins etc installed on your box this will work fine. It should be placed in usr/share/enigma2
2. The recommended option would be to mount a usb flash drive to your box and install the picon folder there. it should be placed in media/usb
If you haven't done so already make a backup of your picon folder from the HDD using a FTP program or dcc control centre, do this before you delete it from the HDD. You can copy the folder over to your desktop and then ftp it from there to either the internal flash or usb stick.

You need to follow this tutorial buddy: Easy Guide to Unblock 1channel in Current TSmedia for Blocked Countries
-
What you have put is correct buddy, I take it with your longtitude setting with it being a minus that you have this set to west???
-
Ok if your using ts media to access 1channel then open it and select movies, then goto 1channel movies. Blue button will take you into settings.... in here highlight the proxy source then press the right/left arrow to change it from primwire to your own. Remember to press the green button to save this setting. This only works if you have added the proxy links file with your proxy host address by ftp into etc/tsmedia

Yep you can use your sly card in your solo no probs, you just need to have the correct configs setup in your box to begin with...
Read this thread first: How To Use Your Sly UK Card In Your Dreambox
I have attached a cccam.cfg file for you, you will need to edit this in order for your card to work, just follow the tutorial in the link and you will see what has to be done....
-
The real benefit is that it installs plugins/channel lists/picons/cams etc etc directly to your box. No manual installations of ipk's need apart from installing the addons panel itself.....
-
Please explain what the fix was buddy, for the benefit of others..... Thank-you
-
Can you post your cccam cfg file buddy, editing out any ports & passwords please. You will find it in the "etc" folder which you can access using a ftp program.
-
The plugin you have seen is for a E2 receiver so it should work with your Duo2 no probs....
-
The info your missing is taken from the oscam.user file in the config folder, I take it this hasn't changed since you updated the oscam version?
-
I am running oscam 9564 here, when I click on the users tab, this is what's showing from left to right on the interface...
On/Off-Label-Status-Address-Protocol-Groups-Idle Time-On Channel-Last Channel-LTIME-OK-NOK-IGN-TOUT-CACHE-TUN-last 60s-OK-NOK
Have you no "label" tab showing???
