Sorry my bad English, maybe that was the source of misunderstanding. Not from one card since one provider only allows to watch 1 league, which we have on cable TV but want to share them with each other through CSP (our Sunday crazy day, beer and Soccer all day long). This is main reason. Also would like to implement some control to my kids. Chronological controll no prob with ip-tables, but would like even to make them watch only some channels (few kids channels). and for sure thought of filtering some adult things on the TV on our living room.

Does user-manager/profiles (users belonging to one profile) along with ca-profiles/provider-idents (specific channels) I mean 3 different profiles for all of us. Sunday profile (LOL), kids 2 hrs a day profile and of course main living room all day long profile for my parents and wife (sleeping profile for me).

Should I get three DM-s each with different user and ip? no prob if i pay once 150 Euro. If it is possible to make this parental control of course. Small price for making all my TV dreams come true.

Lol am always choosing wrong product.

And I think I am going to lose the bet from my friend. Since he uses CCcam we wont be able to share each others cards if I get OScam, we wont be able to watch three leagues of soccer from one place. Simply we will stay Nomads for every game we would like to watch, will have to move to each others place.

I thought I could achieve "parental control" for my children with ca-profiles/provider-idents and user manager/profiles, while do somethings with ip-tables firewall to stop them watch more than 2 hours per day.

    I guess I was wrong.

Hi guys is it possible that with csp we can make 3 different profiles and make define usernames from same network watch only specific profile.

    Here is the scenario:

Me and two of my friends want to limit the access to only few channels for our children, and make something else possible on our living room, while have access to everything in my room (except maybe for channels that our childrens watch).

What do I need to make this happen, since I am thinking of moving out of cable TV to sat TV.

I thought CSP can make this happen. But what else do I need? Can I make it with DM or I have to set up NewCS?

    Best Regards.

I am new on Sat TV but am not newbie on Linux.
