Ok tried this version, same issues with standby freezing.
Box is an S10, Alibaba1802.
When i turn off the box, the lights on the box go out, but the channel stays on. When i try to turn the box back on using the remote it does not respond.
Thanks for the upload, just reporting what i find.
Ok just downloaded and tested, first of all thanks to uploader for posting this.
A few things to report. I do like the look of it, the icons, the colours etc.
But i still have the persistent freezing with the remote when turning off the box, was hoping this issue was fixed.
I have tried to play avi files and i do hear sound but no picture, all the avi files do work in surround sound system.
I tried recording to usb, which it seems to do ok without any error messages, but i can not play back as it stutters and a message appears, device too slow.
Would love to hear has anyone got the same issues, especially the freezing on standby, as i use a video senderquite often from another room in the house, it would be great to turn off the box properly using the remote.
Many thanks
thanks, but can someone aswer the question.... is the menu one row or three?
I cant vouch for the S9 but i have installed the S10 version of this firmware, and it has 3 row channel list
ok got it to work, three different usb oen drives didnt want to know, formatted with ntfs, then fat, then fat32, didnt make a difference. Thought i would try a sd card with a card reader and off it went with no problem. Thanks for the responses guys
Had same difficulties trying to rename the favs list but got there so agree its not that intuitive. Only problem i have is when going in and out of a few menus the box freezes. I can still see the channel i am on, but can't change it and box no longer has clock or any lights visible. Switch off at mains and back on all is ok again.
hi thanks for gettingback so quick, yes i have used winrar and extracted the .abs file to the root of the flash drives, but oddly the menu is still greyed out.
Hi everyone. First post so be gentle with me. I have an openbox S10, have doent eh usual checks and its not a clone. But when i try to upgrade by USB the option to do so is greyed out. I have tried 3 different flash drives but no joy. Each of the drives is recognied by the Openbox when playing avi's etc...
Has anyone a solution to this problem. Help would be much appreciated.
