First of all, thanks for all of your opinions :40_002:
My vu+ solo2 arrived few minutes ago... now its time to compare it with my old Amiko Alien 8900 ;)

Hi Guys,
I'm catching HISPASAT (30W) channels in Germany. This satellite has mainly services for Portugal and Spain, so it is optimized to that region.
However, I can receive properly the channels from many transponders. But there is one transponder, which the signal quality is always switching between 100% and 0%. This is strange since it never goes to another percentage.
Is this issue already known by any of you?
Is a problem from the receiver or it is a problem from the antenna? I've already adjusted the antenna many times, but no success with that.
What do you think that it could be?
Thanks in advance,
Tiago C.
Please allow me one more question:
As E2 is more stable on Vu+ than in Alien, don't you think that OSCAM is also more stable on Vu+ rather than in Alien?
Cheers,
Tiago C.
Maybe it's better to clarify that I'm running OSCAM in Amiko Alien 8900, with SPARK.
Ok, now its clear to me :D
Thanks budy,
Tiago C.
Hi guys,
When I'm zapping quickly through different channels, the OSCAM tends to stop working.

Is there anyone able to help me????
Cheers and thanks in advance,
Tiago C.
Hey guys,
Apart of the price, what receiver would you recommend:
and why???
Cheers,
Tiago
Additionally, there are some transponders that are supposed to list channels, but they cannot detect any... This is only another issue that can contribute to the main idea exposed on the previous post...
Hi everybody,
I've an Amiko Alien 8900. Some of the channels from a given transponder are detected and I can watch them without problems. However, there are some further channels from the same transponder that are not detected/listed, and therefore I cannot watch them. Any clue about the reason?
Cheers,
Tiago
Hi guys,
I'm wondering why people buys receivers with 2 channel input instead of buying cheapest ones and 1 additional diseqc 1.2?
Have any of you thought about that before? I really don't understand the difference between having 1 receiver with 2 inputs and 1 receiver with 1 input and a diseqc next to it...
Cheers,
Tiago C.
