Why not make it yourself to your own personal liking bud??
Everything you need is on site and to make it even easier, our Addons plugin..I would but on the last 3 times of trying to use this as the base image I have had to revert back after 24 hours following too many problems.

Hi,
Can someone advise how I flash the Vu+ Solo SE V2 via USB.
I have the USB stick formatted in FAT32
vu plus folder copied (as normal) to the USB stick.
Switched off the box
Plugged in the USB stick to the port on the back (tried both of these)
Switch the box on
The USB flashes for a second then the box boots as normal without flashing.Am I missing a trick here and is there a different method for flashing this box?

Found this so it seems like I was trying to do it right but there was a problem with the files in the image I was using. Tried again with a different image and it seems to have worked.

Display MoreIf this is your first Vu+ receiver, you will be pleased to know, that installing an image onto any of the Vu+ receivers is a very simple process. Simply grab a Usb stick, format it in fat32 with your pc, download the BlackHole image from www.vuplus-commuinity.net (other images are available from different teams) and extract the zip file contents to the root of your newly formatted Usb stick. Once this is done, plug the Usb stick into 1 of the rear Usb ports and then power the box on. The SoloSE will do the rest and once flashing is complete it will flash the power button on and off, to let you know that it has completed. So you simply power the box off again, and remove the Usb stick, and then power the SoloSE back on again. It’s a very quick and simple process and typically around 1 minute to reflash.

Hi
I have tried to install Kodi and the python required. This gave me a "No Space Left of device" message so I rolled back and flashed the box to the OBH backup from Honcho in case this was just a space issue. Even after rolling it back and trying to install this first I get the below errors. Can someone advise what I am doing wrong or what I need to do to get this installed correctly without running out of space.
The files I am installing in the tmp directory are:
- python-imaging_1.1.7-r5_mips32el.ipk
- enigma2-plugin-extensions-kodidirect_2.0-r32-20150728_all.ipk
- python-image_2.7.3-r0.3_mips32el.ipk

Hi,
I have a few support questions on the Open Black Hole 0.1 that I hope someone can help me fix or point me in the right direction.
1. When I power off the Telly the box also switches off. When the box updated the EPG or channel list during the night it also switches on the telly. The box then goes back into standby by the telly does not. How do I disable the box putting the telly into standby also?
2. Channel selection issue - At the bottom or the channel selection window (pressing up or down on the remote) there is an option to press 3 to see Multi EPG. This worked fron on the BH software but now it just takes me to channel 3 on the list rather than opening the EPG.
3. Enhanced Movie Center - Anyone know how to get this working on this version of the software? I get the [cannot import name EMCCurrentService]
4. How do I install the .ipk files in the tmp folder now on this image and what is the Linux code to do this via tenet for *.ipk in the folder?
5. Anyone know how to get XBMC or KODI working on this image as it does not work and Green Screens?

What is it you are trying to get working, xbmc launcher or kodidirect ? Which receiver are you using ? How is it not working, what issues are you having ?

I am using Vu+Duo. The menu has the XBMCAddons. When I go in to addons all it has is [Exit] and [Exit]. Pressing Blue takes me in to the addon section but there is nothing listed. Yellow takes me in to Software and it has [#### update ####] ...etc. When I choose any of these get a greenscreen. [Crash log attached]
Just really looking for a guide on what I should and should not be doing with it, what it can do and how I should do it correctly. I tried the 2 forums listed at the bottom of the XBMCAddon but there were of little help to get me off the ground.

Hi, I have AutoBouquets E2 (Version:20/10/13) and it is set to Grampain HD as area.
Firstly I do not seem to get getting the correct channel listing for Grampain. It seems to give me UTV instead of STV and also 117 which was STV HD seems to also now be missing.
In addition to this the auto update is set for 0300H every morning and causes the system to crash. Below is the crash log. Can anyone advise how to resolve both these issues?

I am looking for someone to advise me how I can fix the problem I have with the narrator audio when I change channel.
When I change the channel it is defaulting to the NAR audio (where the channel has it) as below. I need to change this every time I change the channel.
I have also looked and changed the seetings mentioned in other posts on this forum to fix it with other images but this does not work for me
Any help appreciated.

Hi,
I now have my HDD up and running again on the system. I removed the HDD and plugged it in to a PC and USB booted to gparted then re-configured the HDD. Now seems like it is back in the box and reading correctly. The problem I have not is that my box is going to Green Screen when I try to do most thing and it is telling me....IOError: [Errno 28] No space left on device.
Any ideas how I can clear up the space on the box so I can force re-install the plugs so they correct files are re-installed on the HDD?Thanks

Can anyone tell me how to format the HDD in my Vu+ Duo (running BH 2.0.6)?
I have tried via Menu > Setup > System > Hard Drive > Initialisation but i get the following error: Unable to initalise the hard drive. Error: Creating partition failed.
Is there a way to do this via telnet and if so can someone advise of the commands?
