  • Help newbie server setup

    What I've got is vu duo downstairs and tm500 upstairs I run black hole 172 feb on duo. And ur on tm.
    I'm sick of paying so my dad pays for sly and he said he's willing to let me use his sly card he lives in a different location so I can bring his card here and then buy him a receiver to pick his channels up or do it from his location only thing is he knows not how anything works, I want to be able to grow if I get chance ie not be restricted and then have to spend more money I'd rather just get the best gear now and keep it as simple as possible. I have a old laptop hp pavilion that I don't use that I could get started with.
    It's all just so new I'm right att starting line ha ha

    Ive been directed to here to get some help so here goes, before I start just want to mention what a good looking forum this is it's very user friendly and seems to have the lot all in one place.
    I'm wanting to know what way to go with making my own server for uk only
    Would it be a case of using a laptop or pc connected to a reader or receiver or can it be done using just a receiver to do everything?
    Hope I'm not breaking any rules here

  • How install and configure inadyn on VU+DUO

    i downloaded the enigma plugin from another forum and for some reason this is not working i cant find the file inadyn.conf in /var/etc in the duo via ftp ive tryed to delete the plugin but i cant find it now.i hope this doesnt effect my box as i had it working great and since this went wrong im getting jumps on the tv screen here is the log


    inadyn started inadyn version 1.96 -dynamic dns updater i-inadyn ip address for alias XXXXX.dyndns.tv needs update to XXXXXXX
    w inadyn error validating dyndns svr answer check usr pass hostname



    im using black hole by the way

    I have uno and have all kinds problems with audio scanning and hdmi tv activation on turning on,it means that when i turn on i have to take out hdmi cable and place back in.can someone tell me what to do as there is that many different instructions just on this page alone i dont know which one to follow,ive fot new drivers ready,do i send tthem to usb in the state there in (winrar file or open then send to usb?///do i plug usb in front or back of box?do i need to mount usb? what do i do>>>>?????

  • How to : Mgcamd and CCcam???

    i have uno and am running cccam but am getting channel freeze i only have one of my seven lines in the cfg as that is what ive been advised o do,in my last box i had all the lines in.i think im missing somthing as this uno isnt running as it should.mgccam????please advise.

  • vu uno epg channel skip

    I have a uno running blackhole ,i am getting channels freeze especially on european channels not so bad on uk but still happens also everytime i try to set the epg up it crashes goes green and shows a error log.anyone have any ideas whats going on.
    didnt expect these problems from such a expensive bit of kit.my tm500 s was set up on same dish and was fine so it cant be the dish setup
