hope this helps it seams that its a sky firmware issue , you could look into custom router firmware or using a better one that you own yourself though and have it in the router/hub :) or iff you have a ddwrt firmware cable router you could set that up as updater for the server aswell from what ive read as no custom fw for that sly model router :(

Last question (s ) buddy ( honestly lol ) I have my old sky router Sagem f@st 2504n that I kept before I upgraded to sky fibre and my new sr102 router I also have an old sky netgear as well ... Could I use the sagem router for no ip purposes and would it affect my fibre speed etc.. Lastly is it easy to set up for c share..

Hi Master G My router is sky sr102 ... I had to turn off oscam and turn on cccam on my dreambox for my sky channels to clear. I then opened up 192.###.## :16001 and i was able to see my card entitlements etc.. As i said earlier I have a n ip host and a no ip updater . I have my dreambox set to a static ip as well. Any help will be appreciated Master g.. I would really like to get this set up properly.

Right here is were I am so far.. I have a no ip host address ( ##########.servebeer.com ) I edited the oscam conf. ccam port from 12000 to 12012... I opened the services in my router and added Service==d/box... and port 12012. This is as far as i got because im unsure of the how to enter my host and the settings required for firewall rules.. Im really looking for help on this please..

Hi m8 sorry for the late reply but im only back from visiting at the hospital.. On my dm box if i have oscam turned on the cards wont scramble. I have to turn off oscam and turn on cccam to get the card to unscramble the channels .. Is this normal.. also i have a dynds account.. Is it better to use thier updaters m8. Lastly is it better for me to change the port in oscam.conf from 12000 to any number I want or is there designated numbers I have to use, could you give me an example of how to do this please,, Sorry for these questions but i want to learn all this stuff Master G

Hi master G.. I have the card sorted now I got the hold of an amstrad and phoned sky and they paired it to my sd sky box. I stuck it into my dm500s and my scrambled channels cleared. What is my next procedure to get this card up and running for sharing before i upgrade to sports films etc.. Thats the problem Master G I cant get logged in to the ip address link you sent me ( you can tell now im not to well up on this stuff )
So far all i have done is added the image file and ftp the oscam setings you sent me , I then inserted my skycard into my dreambox to see if it would clear my basic channels ( but alas it wont ). I havent at this point inserted any c or n lines into the image.. Can you forward me an idiots guide as how to get this sorted for me please :-) thanks in advance....

Restart oscam then copy and paste the live log here from startup and from zapping on the premium movie & sports channels..

Thanks m8 I dont have the movies and sports (yet ) just the basic channels package Discovery etc.. Im going to upgrade if i can get this to work buddy. But as i said earlier the box wouldn't even open the discovery channels on the dbox but they opened on the vu box. Sorry for all the dumb questions btw.

If this is a white uk card and has been inserted in the official hd decoder the card will be paired and won`t work in any other receiver.. There is a few things you need to do to get it working again..

Hi m8 this is doing my nut in.. I installed the above image and i inserted my sky card but it wont clear my channels .. I thought maybe my card was locked but i put it into my daughters vu solo 2 and the card opened channels ,, What else could I look for in my dbox image ,,, Thanks for any help buddy.

If you have a hd package cancel it as hd cannot be decoded in any third party receiver, other than BT sports, setanta and a few others.

Looking for an updated image to be able to share card to friends and family using my dm500s. I will pay someone a few pounds or donate it to a charity if they don't want money. I'm not looking to make money out of this venture , Any help will be greatly appreciated
