a short explanation of dream control center (dcc ) when you first use dcc there is a little setting up to do . after tha when you open dcc , you look in the boom left corner of the screen , it says FTP click on that . now you will see two big boxes of files , on the left are files inside your box and over on the right you will see files that are in your computer . between both boxes are two arrows that point left and right.

now when you have opened dcc and click on FTP , if you look in the box on the left you will find a file called /tmp , in some boxes its called var/volatile /tmp but there is only one tmp file what ever it is called so if you see it click on it twice to open it .

next look in the box on the right and find the tsmedia ipk file (you can download it in this section) click on that file one time to highlight it , then look between the boxes and click on the arrow that is pointing left , if you look now the tsmedia file should be in the box on the left .

so now tsmedia is in your box but not yet installed . so you need to go to your box menu and look for the addons menu / addons panel , there should be an option there to manually install ipk files or atleast to manually install addons , if so open that option and then you should see tsmedia there , if so select it and install it . the box will reboot itself after the install , once the box has restarted press menu button and tsmedia should be listed there .

some boxes or atleast some images may not have an ipk install panel , if you find that you cant install the ipk file dont worry you can use dcc to send the tsmedia file direct into extensions in your box . but try the above method first .

try pressing ok button twice quickly when selecting tsmedia

amiko mini hd is not enigma 2 and because of that is a bit limited . you can add a c or n line to it and its also cable compatable . also as far as i am aware has youtube available aswell as a media player , so you can probably add a usb stick or hdd with movies etc to it (via the usb post) and use the media player to view them . if you get an enigma 2 box however your options increase such as being able to install tsmedia or hasbahcas iptv plugin etc etc .

ive never seen a box like that . cant you have a dvd player seperate to the box ? do you have connectivity issues ? .

1) open tsmedia and Movie25 press green button and in the Domain field type

2)open your FTP Client and go to ect/TSmedia right click on proxy_links and edit the text for Movie25 to this

restart Tsmedia 7.98 and Movie25 should be working
its not the best and bit unstable but its a work around for now so dont shoot me down please

this error is not really a hard disk drive error , but you are seeing it because you dont have a hard disk drive attached to your box . if you havent got a hard disk drive you can of course add one and the problem will be solved .

but if you dont have a hdd dont worry there is a very simple fix . whats happening here is that the plugin is set by default to save a cache on your hdd , if you have no hdd attached the box cant do what its set to do by default so then these particular channels dont open .

the solution is simple and very easy (for those that dont have a hdd ) open hasbahcas plugin, you will see an icon with 3 cogs (select that ) now you will see a menu and various settings that you can set , use your down button to scroll down to the bottom of the menu . when you get to the bottom the next lot of options will appear , now you will see CACHE LINKS M3U8? and to the right of that it will probably say YES , so all you do is use your left/right buttons to change YES to NO , then press green button to save . thats it , now go back to those channels and they will open but they may be a tad slow to open but they open .

if some channels dont open http channels it can be that they need to buffer a bit longer but that the plugin doesnt give them enough time , so if you have a hdd attached you can go to the above settings and set CACHE LINKS HTTP to yes . that allows them a little more time to buffer and open .

you cant do this for rtmp links unless you have rtmp dump . i hope my short tutorial helps , and if anyone has anything to add here any other helpfull info for this plugin such as what i posted above please feel free as everything posted here will help people understand and use the plugin better .

uninstall tsmedia 7.98 and install an older version as tsmedia 7.91 as cazuela mentioned . ive done this and that version works ok , you can leave that version for now if you like . or you can go to tools ,then select files library ,then select software official , then scroll to tsmedia 7.96 (this is the second last version and is working ok as far as i am aware for 2 weeks now ) press ok button , and then press green button to update your current version of tsmedia to 7.96 .

i tried to go back to 7.96 but the same problem occurs .

i have the same problem (with no error being shown in any log ) , when i press menu and then select tsmedia it opens for a few seconds and disappears . the previous 2 or 3 versions had a problem similar to this but only on blackhole images , but as far as ive seen tsmedia 7.96 is ok or was last night . by the way my box is a vu+solo with blackhole image .

this error is not related to uk isps blocking , they would block a url to a site they cant stop a plugin opening . i suggest people with this problem revert back to tsmedia 7.96 , however some previous versions will not re install , so if 7.96 does not install do as cazuela says and go back to 7.91 .

as your box is an alien make sure your using an sh4 version of tsmedia . that may not be your problem but it could be . i dont know if there are sh4 versions uploaded here but i would think there are . once you have installed it then you can update it .

by pressing the audio button on your remote you may find addition audio options for channels , english may be there , if so select it . but if you only have one audio (the default channel audio ) you wont be able to change audio .

also you can simply press green button on your remote , followed by yellow button , and select addons uninstall panel , select tsmedia and uninstall it .

i have a solo with blackhole 2.1.0.1 and tsmedia 7.98 doesnt crash for me . how did you install it ? , if you installed via tsmedia update maybe when you have uninstalled download tsmedia 7.98 .ipk from this site and install it by FTPing it to the var/volatile/tmp folder . then press green followed by yellow as you did above , and select manually install ipk packages , the file should be in there , select it to install . i

f you installed tsmedia 7.98 via the method just above well then after you have uninstalled , install the previous version ipk file and try that , that would be tsmedia 7.96 . if that works ok go to tools and update to the current version .

some channels just have one audio source and that is the main audio for that channel . but some channels have dual or multi audio options , so if your on any channel viewing it press the audio button on your remote control , you may see an english option if so select it . sadly if english isnt there you cant select it .

hi chris i am not saying your box claims to be a vu (maybe i didnt word my post the best ) , i am saying that people who sell them may advertise them as being vu , such as some say mini vu solo .

ok if your box doesnt crash then there wont be a crash log stating a particular error is should imagine , i think we thought that when you said something wasnt working (such as ftv ) that it was crashing or had crashed . but im sure mfaraj will see the error you posted above and be able to figure out why it occurs .

hi well any box claiming to be a vu+ solo (or duo ) other than the actual vu + solo/duo are clones . original vu boxes will set you back atleast about £200 for a solo , so if you bought a box purporting to be a solo or duo for considerably lower than that they wont be genuine .

that said in most cases their is little difference between a clone box and a genuine box in the sense of how well they perform , ive got a solo clone and i cant fault it , but it is what i call a proper clone in that it looks exactly like a genuine box , you could look all day and find it hard to spot a difference .

but my point was simply that your box is i believe non ferrari chipped , my box is ferrari , so we could both have solo clones and both have the same image but both boxes (atleast plugin wise ) could perform differently , as appears to be the case . but if memory serves mfaraj said he tests tsmedia on a cloud box so if you can provide him crash logs he may be able to spot the problem . i know you say you cant find a log , i had the same problem , but i then realised i had a hard disk drive attached and i checked in there and sure enough the crash logs were stored in there . you should check with mfaraj just to clarify where the log is stored in the box by default if you have no usb or hdd attached , maybe it doesnt save a log if there is no storage device , or it may store the log in the /tmp folder for a limited time when the box then removes it . but mfaraj could confirm that for you im sure , then if you had the log the error your having might be spotted and fixed .

i know the alien 1 is sh4 so this plugin may not be compatable with alien 1 boxes , but im not certain of that . the same could apply to alien 2 boxes , but you have nothing to lose by trying the plugin , and if it fails to work just return to the addons menu and you should see an option to uninstall plugins plugins , select and remove the plugin . i hope that helps mate

yes filmon works for me on tsmedia 7.98 mate , im using blackhole 2.1.0.1 on a vu+solo . im not using a cloud box like you , while a cloud is a clone solo its a non ferrari clone , so in that sense the boxes are different . and so because of that the may function differently tsmedia wise .

if you change images before you do so please ensure the image/s you wish to try are safe for your box , that is safe and clone safe , or you could end up with a door stop . im sure you will find suitable images here on this forum , but if you are not sure if an image is safe to use check with an experienced member first .
