it should be mentioned also that plugins can and do function differently in different boxes and with different images , this is the case with tsmedia . i know i read that people have problems when using a certain image for example blackhole while others with another image for example vix dont have this problem . so an answer / sollution to certain problems could be in try a different image (there may be posts here about peoples experienced with different images) , take a backup first before changing images , then you can revert back to your old image if you wish . this is not a criticism of tsmedia or of any post now i am just trying to say that some times a problem with a plugin is related to the image and box .

as an example i find that on blackhole on my vu + solo that on the whole filmon works fine , where as rarely does FTV work , but then people with a different box / image could have both plugins working . also as mfaraj says things can change that are beyond his control and beyond the plugins control , such as links may stop working etc .

but its a good thing i feel to have people posting about any issues that might have arisen , as all this info often helps mfaraj to find and fix these problems , and that benifits everyone who uses this excellent plugin . yes i can understand that some times your favourite tsmedia plugin may have a problem and i know that can be a bit frustrating , for example i currently dont have 1 channel working on tsmedia 7.98 , but im sure that will be fixed soon . as mfaraj says tho we have alternatives like movie 25 while we wait for a fix .

how are you installing it dodds ? i assume from your post that your trying via tsmedia/tools / update . its seems fine for me with a vu+solo and blackhole . but if your stuck go to your box addons panel and there should be an addons uninstall panel (uninstall tsmedia ) . then download the latest tsmedia ipk file from this section , if its a rar or zip file you need to unzip it . then use dream control center or vu control center to send the tsmedia ipk file into the tmp folder in your box , then go back to your box addons menu and you should see either manual install panel or manually install ipk file (or similar) if so open the option the applies to you and the tsmedia file should be in there . select the file to install it .

watch series does work on tsmedia 7.96 on my vu+solo with blackhole image , but a lot of the links dont work , so if you have a lot of links you need to try as many as you can . if you have few links or only one link (in some cases no links ) then odds are that you wont see the particular series you want to see , atleast untill the links are fixed .

watchseries also works on tsmedia 7.98 but again any series is dependent on working links .

just in case there is an issue with your particular version of watchseries in tsmenia go to tools , then go to addons , then go to net tv , you will see a list of plugins , scroll down the list and you will see a few different versions of watch series , if you see a green circle to the left of the plugin that means its installed but if the circle is grey that means its not installed . what you do is scroll to the first version of watchseries in the list and look towards the bottom of the screen it may say PRESS OK TO SELECT FOR REMOVE , it may say INSTALL instead of remove or it may say to UPDATE .if you see update press ok and then the green button and the plugin will update . if you see INSTALL and you press ok and then the green button the plugin will install , by the same token if it says remove well then pressing ok and then pressing the green button uninstalls the plugin. so if there are other watchseries plugins in the list you can install and try them .

some times when you install from tools /addons you get a green screen , i find this happens with larger files , but often for smaller files their is no green screen . it is a bit annoying but the plugin does install fine , if you go back to tsmedia once the box reboots you will see that the plugin has installed .

some times i have noted with tsmedia 2.96 that on opening net media / iptv section or youtube that i get a green screen and the box reboots , but usually then you can go back to tsmedia and these options work ok .

also a lot of movie links seem not to work again , but some do work but often say if your on movie25 you have to check a lot of links to find one that works .

i forgot to say im using a vu+solo with blackhole image 2.1.0.1 . i just opened tsmedia 7.96 and it crashed on opening with green screen , the box rebooted and then i tried tsmedia and it worked again . here is my crash log , there was a lot of lines below the following log saying cdata but i think this is the error log bit .

that is normal mrbirdseye , its in the top left corner of screen . i know with youtube if i play the video , and then immediately stop it and then play again that the black bar is gone . that may or may not work with the movies but its worth trying , but even so you get used to that black bar to a point you dont notice it after a while .

if your in the uk your isp may be blocking you viewing these plugins , you can use a proxy to get around this .

are the plugins opening ? as mfaraj says the plugins should open but i found some did not . if not in tsmedia open tools, then select addons ,then select movies , now any movie plugin you have installed will have a little green circle to the left of the plugin , if you havent got a plugin installed there will have a little grey circle .

so go to icefilms and see if its got a green circle or a grey one , if its grey press ok button , then press green button to execute installation . some times when you install a plugin you get a green screen , but dont worry all that happens is the box reboots , then go back to tsmedia / tools / addons/ movies and install 1channel the same way . when both are installed open tsmedia and open movies and see if they work . movies25 and watchmovies are very good plugins in case you cant get the above 2 to work .

as for links with some plugins you may get only 1 link or just a few links but you have to try al links because some do work , and if few links work there is less chance to view a movie . movie25 has many links but you may have to go through a page or two of links to get one to work , but they do work.

hi mfaraj just to report i tried the image files you gave me on two different vu+solo boxes and they didnt fix the problem .

as a test i tried to go back to tsmedia 7.94 , and then i tried to go back to tsmedia 7.93 , i installed both versions fine but the same problem exists as with tsmedia 7.95 . so it seems that if you have this problem that you cant go back to older versions of tsmedia , or atleast you cant go back to 7.94/ 7.93 .

so i currently have two different boxes setup and running tsmedia 7.96 , and so far its running ok , but of course as i explained the problem usually takes atleast 6 or 7 days to appear .

i have a friend using an older version of tsmedia , on a vu+solo with blackhole . i will have to check with him to see if he has the problem , if he doesnt have this problem that that will mean the problem only occured in versions of tsmedia after the version of tsmedia he is using . that may help to track down the problem . mfaraj you mention that tsmedia worked ok on your box and i was wondering after talking with a friend if the problem might be only ferrari ? , i mean for example say the mini solo is not ferrari so if the problem with tsmedia does not occur with the mini solo using blackhole that maybe the problem is ferrari related ? , i dont know this and i could be 100% wrong (i probably am lol ) but its just a thought that may help solve the problem .

on another note mfaraj i installed tsmedia 7.96 full and very few plugins are installed , i had to go to tools to install the various plugins that i use . this was not a problem for me as i easily installed them via tools menu , but i thought that with tsmedia full that all or atleast most plugins would be installed . i checked to be sure i didnt install the wrong version , i definately installed tsmedia 7.96 , but just to certain i went to another download source and downloaded and installed tsmedia 7.96 full again , and still most plugins were not installed .

lastly youtube which worked very well is now running slow , and if you try to watch a video (a long video) say 1 hour long the video either will not play or the box is stuck and must be rebooted . also you cant download youtube videos as the download option opens but does not work .

i havent fully tested tsmedia 7.96 so there may be other issues , but so far that is all i have to report mfaraj . thanks for all your help mfaraj

hi mfaraj if the problem only occurs after one week or maybe 2 weeks its hard to say if tsmedia 7.96 has fixed the problem , because the problem may take a week or two to return .

lacierva thats the strange thing about this problem , its that the plugin (tsmedia 7.94 ) worked for about a week fine , and the plugin (tsmedia 7.95 ) worked nearly 2 weeks fine , and then it just stopped opening over night . but if you can try the second png file that mfaraj posted , use dream control center or vu control center , and go to the location i mentioned in my previous post to mfaraj and ftp the png file in there . its a rar file so you have to unzip it first . once the file is in the box i suggest you reboot the box , then try tsmedia , please report your results here please . thanks

hi cazuela i read the post properly , but i have no idea what the forum sponsor does or does not provide or do with the box . thats the reason i posted what i did , i was saying the sponsor may have set a password on the box as a means for the poster to go and check that out and either confirm that or to rule it out as being the problem , thats all . after all some box problems can have multiple possible causes , and finding the cause is often a matter of ruling out potential problem causes one by one . talk soon

mfaraj57 i replaced the file in usr/lib/enigma2/python/plugins/ extensions/tsmedia/interface/images/framepanel.png but this has not fixed the problem .

if your box has no password you dont have to enter it in vucc , for example blackhole image has no password by default so then password in vucc would be blank .however if you recieved the box with blackhole installed it may be possible that the installer set a password , especially if the box came with a gift , if so contact the supplier about the password .

double check in network setup that the ip you entered in vucc is the correct ip of your box .

mfarj57 i have another problem to report , and it seems a serious problem . firstly i am using blackhole 2.1.0.1 on a vu+solol .

when using tsmedia 7.94 for a few days (5 or 6 days ) a serious problem happened . when i pressed menu and select tsmedia , tsmedia started to load for a few seconds , then it disappeared from the screen and did not come back , so tsmedia never opened . at this point the box is stuck and i had to reboot the box , i tried tsmedia again , and again the same thing happened . this happened also on two other vu+ solo boxes with blackhole .

but you had released tsmedia 7.95 so i changed tsmedia on all 3 boxes from tsmedia 7.94 to tsmedia 7.95 , i thought the above problem was only a problem with tsmedia 7.94 so i didnt report it in my last post . however after using tsmedia 7.95 for maybe 2 weeks this same problem occured , when i press menu tsmedia is there , i select it , it starts to load for a few seconds and then disappears and then my box is stuck , i have to reboot box to fix the box . this error never happened before with any tsmedia version i used .

i would show you the error log from my box but i dont know where to find it , i did look for the error log but i cant find it . if you tell me where the error log is located i will find and post it , and then i hope you can see what is causing the problem .

how are you installing it ? . are you FTPing a tsmedia ipk file to the /tmp folder ? , maybe your installing via tspanel ? or did you simply upgrade from tools in tsmedia ? . you could try to uninstall the plugin via the addons uninstall panel , and then re install using tsmedia .ipk file and see if that makes a difference .

i would like to report that on tsmedia 7.95 on vu+solo with blachole image that watchseries does not work , i know mfaraj57 before you said putlockertv has issues hopefully maybe this will be fixed in the future . but it would be great to have watchseries fixed if this is possible . also is it possible to get back the original icefilms as this was an excellent plugin .

also i wish to report that youtube videos will not download , they did download fine on the previous version of tsmedia but download does not work on tsmedia 7.95 , i hope this option can be fixed soon as it is a very good option .

i installed updates for hasbacha iptv and sportsdevil and i installed watchmovies and i am very happy to report these all work well . only exceptions being that sportsdevil is a bit slow but it does work and this is great .

one other issue to report which is important is that when viewing movie list such as viewing page 1 of movies25 movie list if you try to select NEXT PAGE it will not change to page 2 and will only stay on page 1 .

you can use very simple f lines if you wish , a simple f line can simply contain the user name and password that you put in the c line you gave out .

example , lets say your c line which you give a client (the person you want to share with ) is C:bigdes.no-ip.org 12000 dave share1

now i used the user name dave and pasword is share1 , a basic f line can work with just the user name and password from the c line . example

F: dave share1

that is essentially all you need if you trust the people you are sharing with . but you can easily add bits to the end of the f line to block reshares etc . all im saying is that it doesnt need to be complicated you can keep it simple if you wish

im using tsmedia 7.93 on a vu+solo with blackhole 2.1.0.1 and I have no green screen when selecting movies . mfaraj57 the latest plugin works well for iptv such as Navix etc but for movies many links don't work , it seems only divxstage links and mightyupload links work , and icefilms is gone . also watchseries and putlocker series and veetle don't work , veetle opens but no channels open . but no green screens for me . thanks for your great work mfaraj57 .

no ca error means your box has a certain bootloader version and that when you flashed your box with an image it had a different bootloader version . not hard to fix but avoidable , but the advice from the people here on this thread is good .
