Yes credentials taken from the client area, not those used to login to the client area. Definitely the correct ones.

I can confirm this does not work as others have reported back in August. I have input my credentials but will not connect.
My username is of the format: purevpn0s******
Same credentials in chrome extension and router work fine.OpenATV 7.3 and v 1.1.0 of plugin

I spoke to the supplier who told me the EPG works, they sent me images to show it working but it was on an Android box.
-
Tried BMX, created a single bouquet, when into epg importer, I can see the BMX source which I selected. Tried the manual import and same as before 0 events imported.
So has to be the source.

Thanks for the helpful replies.
If I open the epg url in my browser, 9 times out of 10 it crashes "out of memory". If I set next_days=0 I have the best change of a successful request but it rarely completes.
I have only added the PEG url in JediMaker - well I didn't add it as it was auto-filled for me. I noticed that when Jedi Maker had run its update the sources and channel xml were added into /etc/epgimport which I guess are the new sources which I am assigning for the import.
If I open the channels xml created above the lines are as follows:

1:0:1:1cd3:c8fb:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//example.m3u8

Note that example.m3u8 - is that correct?
Maybe I will try BMX then if that the recommendation?

If I look in etc/epgimport I have:
jex.sources.xml
jex.channels.xml
jex.sources has a line:

If I check jex.channel.xml:

1:0:1:2CC:3717:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//example.m3u8

That is the channel which I asssigned in JediEPGMaker - but the url looks to be generic?

If I call my provider's url in my browser:
xmltv.php?username=xxxl&password=xxx&next_days=7
I get data returned, although it times out, but at least I know the url works and returns something. In Jedi StreamMaker I used setting to use providers EPG.
Then I used JediEPG to assign a source to a single channel just to test.
Then I go into EPG importer, I go to sources, ensure my provider is checked, then yellow to import active sources - but 0 events are imported. If I go back one step and then try yellow again to manually import "No active epg sources found, nothing to do" -
Does anyone know how to setup EPG with the JediEPGMaker?
I'm a bit confused, having followed some tutorials is it required to manually assign an epg to every channel in your IPTV favourites. This is of course not practical and I can't believe that this would be expected, but from the UI of the plugin I can't see how to simply say for all IPTV use a particular EPG source
Thanks in advance.

In the settings file found in etc/enigma2 I see the following line:
config.plugins.JediMakerXtream.bouquet_id=726
Where is 726 referenced, presumably there is an index of bouquets with their corresponding IDs. I checked the bouquets.tv file but this does not list the IDs.
Any ideas - thanks!

Try to make a new iptv bouquet list and copy there your new created playlists,so if you make a update of your list, the self-made boquet will then not be overwritten.
I hope you understand what I me mean.
Returning to this issue - apologies for the delay.
I am not sure what you mean exactly, I have used E-Channelizer to download my current favourites from my satellite box. I have saved the files to my PC and I can for example see a bouquets.tv file which lists all of the top level folders, eg:
#SERVICE 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.jedimakerxtream_live_IPTV_-_EU_UK_GENERAL.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
#SERVICE 1:7:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:FROM BOUQUET "userbouquet.jedimakerxtream_live_IPTV_-_EU_UK_ENTERTAINMENT.tv" ORDER BY bouquet
I then see a corresponding file for each bouquet, for example:
userbouquet.jedimakerxtream_live_IPTV_-_EU_UK_GENERAL.tv
What do you mean by "make a new iptv bouquet list"
If I was to run an update I don't understand why my favourites would be re-organised, sure the update just should update the bouquet by ID - regardless of its position?

When creating bouquets from the playlist there is an option to choose EPF source with the provider via a url. Where on the receiver is this configuration saved?
want to change this setting but I do not want create new bouquets since I have moved them around and renamed some and I've not worked out how to retain this structure each time I update or create new lists.

i had already set a password using the passwd command.
never mind, I re-flashed the box and it now works.
-
I had to install openif from plugins to have dreamboxedit recognise the ip address I have set. But the user/password still won't connect.
-
I've just installed OpenATV 7.3 on a Zgemma Star 2S. I've set the password and I am able to SSH into the box with said password.
However I cannot ftp to the box and dreambox won't connect - I'm using a fixed IP and I know the password is correct because the ssh works.
If I go into network settings > ftp the service is not running and autostsrt is disdable, I've been gooing for hours but cannot see how I can start the service.
Any ideas - thanks.
-
Apologies if this has already been asked but, I have created by bouquets from the playlist and then DreamBox edit I have rearranged them. Then when I run the update the original bouquets are restored in the default root location.
Is there a way to have them updated with the new structure in tact?
I'm only moving the bouquets around - I've not moved them into sub-bouquets.
Thanks.

I did originally try v2.3.2 (not sure exactly which version) with ATV 7.2 and I had the problem. I then tried 2.3.9 with 7.2 and the same.
I only rolled back to 7.0 because previously I had no problems with 2.3.9 and 7.0.
I guess I will just stick with Oscam now.
-
I rolled back the OpenATV image to 7.0 and still had the freezing, I timed it and it is pretty much exactly 10 seconds clear, 10 seconds frozen on repeat.
I tried OSCam as suggested, same server and it works fine.
Not sure what has changed, I was not having any issues previously with CCCam.
Strange!

Thanks I'll give is a go and report back.

Hi All,,
Just flashed my Zgemma H9S with OpenATV 7.2 and using v2.3.9 of CCCam channels are freezing, every 15-20 seconds for a few seconds.
Anyone know if anything has changed recently, I am using the same provider which has worked faultless prior to updating my box.
Thnaks.

Hi,
This morning my Zgemma H.S was stuck on boot so I re-flashed with the latest OpenATV 5.3 firmware.
I preferred the previous version though but don't know which it was, menus were slightly different. One distinguishing feature was the Softcm panel on the blue button. I know this is no longer supported but it will help me to identify the previous version. Does anyone know around which version this was removed.
Thank you in advance.
Bob.
