i have ubuntu server with oscam and iam trying to get my new s*ylink card to work the oscam message iam getting is
You have a bad Cam Key set
link [internal] card system not supported
    link [internal] card initializing error
from what ive read i need to use oscam black ship version but it wont work on ubuntu server :(
so far the way i see it is i have 2 options throw the card in the bin and hide the receipt from the other half or use by dm500 to read the card and share to the server
ive bricked my dm500 flashing images so need to find a pc with a serial port to do the flash erase grrrrr
do i have any options ??

i have just looked at cs studio and noticed that i have something out of date
    card reader /dev/ttyS0
handled 655(485) ecms and 0(0) emms
    Viaccess card
    Caid 500
    Cardserial *******
    ident fff920 - c02ca2
    ident 42400 - c02ca2
    ident 42410 - c02ca2
    valid from 29-10-2012 untill 29-4-2013
    valid from 29-10-2012 untill 29-4-2013
    valid from 29-10-2012 untill 29-4-2013
    valid from 29-10-2012 untill 4-11-2012

i assume this is ident 42410 that is out but what dose this mean or what package is it
this is a new card that had been activated but i think something's wrong

please help not sure what to do could it have been blocked or something

last night i made a real mess of my dm800 i received the no ca error and had to dreamup a image i used a Sim 2.01 SSL76 Image "OoZooN"
after doing some reading i had a look and i have a sim210 in the box am i correct in thinking that any sim2 images can be loaded on to my box and that the ssl is on the image that's been flashed so any will work

this all started with the pi image that was installed i couldnt change the network settings so i installed a new image and had tune failed after every reboot this time i would like to start with the correct image in flash then install others onto usb

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

not had a goog weekend guys been in hospital and get out to find my openbox has bit the dust so back to my old dm500 ,i forgot how sd looked :( so its time for a new box ive looked at dm 800 clones but how are the technomate hd boxes my old tm 1000 was a good solid box
    dont want another openbox

realy needs to be cheep but tbh i just want a stable box

i got the psu today after ordering the wrong one off ebay DOH and had it boot up on my tv :) i have friends round this weekend but i will start monday
i must say iam impressed with it but time will tell

i tried changing cccam ive had a good look at my shares and stopped sharing with a few "sorry" that still made no difference so i pulled out my ubuntu pc that i was using before i started with debian and cccam has been stable
could the pc i was using just have been incomparable with linux it seemed ok when i first installed it
but the system its self seemed stable but then again i couldnt get oscam stable and blamed it on oscam
ive lost a few good peers with this i sopose the lesson is that new hardware isnt always better

    sorry this is before buddy

are any of these anything to worry about

i thought this was a oscam problem but i have now reinstalled debian following the Sticky: Automated CCcam 2.3.0 debian and cccam still crashes the system is still there and still connected to the internet vieving the /emu/log/debug its just stopped dead
in the moorning i get up and check the log and i see lots of allready connected errors from my peers and card reader errors cannot view cccam info webpage ,reboot the server and it goes ok for about half a day
i also seem to be able to freeze up cccam info if i view the servers tab and keep refreshing it then cccam stops after about half a hour
    things ive tried
    logging everything
    new card reader
    disconnecting the card reader
checking that i dont have cccam running twice
    minimum cccam cfg
    reinstalling lots of times
    new router
disabling everything in bios Bluetooth ect

i would like to know if there is any other things i can do
how can i tell if cccam has stopped ?

    i need some ideas please

i received my new reader and reinstalled debian with the correct drivers "thanks toonshare" but still had problems oscam crashing cccam restarting at the same time so i have now installed Ten Below recommended version of oscam and musogeek's services
    it's all looking stable :feel_good:
