Ok the we can rule out Track Autoselection since your issues appear before installing the plugin.

Also the Audio driver works proper that i can see in your log files. So now we are at the HDMi setup.

Your setup is from dmtwo you are connected to your Sony TV with a hdmi 2.0/2.1 cable I assume so the cable should also be ruled out.

But from your TV to your soundsystem you are using a S/PIDF connection?

Is it possible to change that connection to HDMI since your TV support ARC

Also the HDMI-CEC can be the problem

Check in Menu >> Setup >> Devices >> HDMI-CEC if activated (Yes) then turn it of and do a full reboot

It's strange that you don't get 2ch stereo from none of your devices because that should work.

    Plug & Play :boxer::mosking:

Hi and thanks for having such faith in me :)

Let's first se abit at your setup. Yes the S/PIDF is not good with the new Dreambox HW and only works with 2 channel stereo at the moment so here is an known driver issue.

Your log files are good and give good information, but the problem is that the none working log does not pin point any driver issues or other problems with the audio. Looks just fine so we have to go to next step in the chain.

Check if the gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly-a52dec is installed on your Dreambox Two

    Code
    apt-get update && apt-get install gstreamer1.0-plugins-ugly-a52dec

I see that you are using TrackAutoSelection plugin. I assume you also use that on your Dreambox One?

I hade some issues with that plugin my self when it comes to audio where it did not release the current audio stream when i was

switching from Movie back to live TV. This is the reverse issue of yours. Could never find the problem so I removed the plugin

Sorry for not being more of help

Then you have not uncheck the 2 boxes in your FlashTool

Uncheck Backup settings and restore before you press the Go button to flash your Dreambox :)

Also if the Setup Wizard find your old settings just answer no and continue then you will have a fresh new installation from scratch

You should try and create a log file and see if there is some information about your problems.

Open a Telnet connection with DCC or Putty

Type the command belowe and press enter on your keyboard to start logging

Now repeat the actions you describe when done go back to your Terminal/Telnet and press CTRL+C to stopp logging

You will now have a log file in your /tmp folder with the name ac3.log

You can check the file for any errors that might point to a solution.

Or post it here and we can have a look at it to see if we can figure out what goes wrong.

    Code
    journalctl -f > /tmp/ac3.log

It's not recommended to use the save & restore option in the Flash Tool (Web interface)

It's better to restore your settings after you made a clean flash and setup.

Then you can restore you channel list and skin settings.

I see that you have the same issue in the SignalFinder plugin so this issue should be fixed by the Developer of the Image you are using in your box

Picon size match the raw height set in the Context Menu.

Less raws gives larger picons and more raws gives smaller picons.

Personal i like to have my raws set to 12 in KiddaC skins then all looks very good

It is an issue with the plugin and nothing to be worry about

If you would to get 80 db then you hade to be connect with kabel to the satellite out in space.

    db around 13-15 is normal.

But if you get 80db or more you should be very happy ;)

The simple answer is that it will break your box if you do that. There is a reason why there is just a .deb file and not an .ipk

So users of non supported images want end up with a broken box.

But if you want to try and now how to get out of it if and when your box stops working.

Then use 7zip on your PC and you can extract the .deb file and transfer the DreamXstream folder to your box with ftp.

You don't use a DreamOS based image so .deb files can't be installed.

For your Image you should install the .ipk file instead if it's available

You only need a blank fat formatted SD Card, Not fat32!!

Nothing on the card just clean format and in your Windows format tool give label name DREAMBOOT

Then follow th guide in that post and you should be able to fix your box with a service cable connected

And a wired nettwork cable, WiFi os not working

I would not recommend any of the unsupported images if you are not a skilled user of Dreambox. All to many users ends up with a broken box when using unsupported images.

I would go for DreamOS based images like

    Peter Pan

    Newnigma2

    Dream-Elite

    GP4.1

Install Oscam as described and then open the Oscam Webinterface.

    Step 1 Open Menu Readers

Step 2 Add new reader and give it any name you like

    Step 3 Choose Cccam reader

    Step 4 Configure reader

Give a label name can be anything you like

    Check box "Enable

    Add groupnumber 1

Device box should be the address in your c-line but instead of

    Code
    http://your-c-line-address:portnumber
use comma sign in the portnumber
    http://your-c-line-address,portnumber

Continue down the config screen, leave as default

In the bottom you find 2 boxes where you add your c-line username and password

If not specified by your provider then just leave the Cccam version to default.

Step 5 save your settings and all should work just fine
