There is an small update in post nr1 for DreamOS users only.

Servicetype 8193 have for some reason been lost in the last version of JMX 6.13 so i have added it back.

And to all you who wonder what does this servicetype do that DVB 1 and 4097 does not.

Not much it actually is the 4097 player that is used but with 8193 there is some helper code involved to make the 4097 player a bit more compatible.

So if you have no issues then the use of 8193 will probaly make no diffrence. But what the heck DP has added it so it must be there for a reason ;)

And in my test the 8193 seems a lot more stable special for bad provider setups

If this was the issue the skin you are using needs the font to be updated to support your language.

I can see that you are using skin made by zombi as far as i know he is not a maber at this forum so contact him at

Yes, that is the case for the images who use the official base; but not so for the openenigma images.

Have you try and long press the yellow button ??

I guess you have your languag set to Arabic ?? To check if this is the problem change your language to English and then restart your Dreambox

Check your settings for AC3 downmix just press Audio button and then press red button to switch the settings

Anyway fake or not i just have to guess ;) in the future use xxxxx for addresses usernames and passwords

This i did to protect you. If you post any configs make sure that server address, username and password are hashed out

Dreambox two and the upcomming seven and also Dreambox one are all built on the same hardware and OE 2.6 so in performance they will be the same.

Diffrence is in the extra stuff like LCD Internal Card Reader and CommonInterface slots.

Dream One is a Zapper so it has no Common Interface and only 1 Card reader But can be orderd with a Combi Tuner for Sat Cable and Terrestrial.

Dream Two is a Sat Reciver and have no other tuner then Satellite. 1 Card Reader and 1 Common Interface slot and a tiny LCD display.

Dream Seven will have more choices like Combi Tuner/Sat Tuner 2 Card Readers and 2 Common Itnerface slots. Bigger in size so a bigger LCD Display

So it is just up to how your are going to use your Dreambox. If you only need a Zapper the dream one will do as good as the two or seven.

And all the previews you see only are not real ;) The real box have not even been put togather yet. But probably it will look much a like the online images you can find. Also the spec is not 100% set yet so can be changes.

Not if you use any image by a Team like ex Newnigma2, Peter Pan, Dream-Elite and so on their image is built on the unstabel feed.

But if you use the DP image from the stable feed you would benefit from this drivers since the stable feed don't get updated as often as the unstable

Try another image than newnigma2.

If you really want OW in your Dreambox Two than try Peter pan image

That image has OW installed by default.

Testing another image will also help you to rule out if there is something wrong with your Dreambox Two

If there is some issues they should be the same in another image.

Then it's a compatible issue with Newnigma2

Code is simple if path to shell in a box exists then the Terminal/Telnet shows in OW

If not then there is no menu entry.

Yes then Terminal should work just fine from OW also

I have tested on Dreambox 525 900 one and two my self and have no issues with OW and Telnet

But can you open the Webinterface for telnet as i asked with the box ipadress:4200 ?

The tune fail on fast zapping is due to the Amlogic Soc as you can see on channel change there is a slowmotion for a short moment

where the Amlogic is syncronizing the video and audio. So really fast zapping will give this error.

What dreambox are you using ?

Why did you re flash?? and if Telnet does not show in OW then shell in a box have not been installed.

You need to install the version of shell in a box you find in the same thread as OW Newnigmas version does not work

Just use an usb hub after you have modify the usb port and you are safe.

All modern usb hubs even the cheap one have a voltage protection built in :)

Best is of cause those with external power supply then they don't use the internal power at all.

But even thoose with no external powersuplly have a built in protection now days

No this is just an addon for Dream-Elite to open up the softcams.
