If you are swapping channels with up and down key you are using a custom keymap.

If you have the premium license for E-Channelizer you have the function to assign epg & Picons.

Some manual correction is needed but it works very well.

If you have only the free licens then there is a trick to use. Takes some more work

If you open your IPTV Favorite boquets you can see your channels in the right window and in the left wirndow you can see alle satellite channels.

From the left window first mark the corresponding channel and hold your CTRL button on your keyboard.

Now just drag and drop the channel into the same IPTV channel in your right window.

This copy the epg ref and picon ref from the satellite channel and assign it to your IPTV channel

Now you can use rytec sources for epg and standard sat picons for your IPTV.

It's the shell in a box that does not playball with your Image. if you change the 0.0.0.0 to the actual ip address of your box

type the address direct in your web browser like this:

And check if the telnet browser window open?

http://ip address of your dreambox:4200

Does the Telnet screen open or do you get an error message? If so can you give me the information please.

The simplest error can be the hardest to find ;)

Problem was in the skin code where i use color name "white" for lcd and for some idiotic reason this is not allowed anymore

and the color code have to be in hex instead. Really sorry and apologize to all my users for not thinking about this.

I have been battling the damn lcd error in standby modus that are not working.

Finally i have figure it out and a fix is avalible to install.

Pluginbrowser >> Greenbutton >> PP Update >> peter-pan lcd fix 2021-04-15

Install this servicepack and the lcd should now work in standby modus

When you transfer your bouquets and your channel list to your Dreambox then E-Channelizer is also transfer the epg source.

You need to restart Enigma2 (GUI) and then open EPG Import plugin. With blue button open the epg source list.

Here you find the E-Channelizer created sources now

In the settings for transfer click the small settings cogwheel icon (Kuggjul) there you can mark the little square to also transfer EPG Sources

You need EPG Import plugin so E-Channelizer have somewhere to transfer the epg source.

I do some very much testing of IPTV with both OE 2.0 OE 2.5 and OE 2.6 boxes and images.

When it comes to IPTV perfomance i can say that there is no bigger diffrence between most images and most Boxes.

I would rather claim that the Dreambox One and Two do perfome very good.

In my tests the provider is the main issue and the common misstake that ServiceApp is the IPTV

It's still servicetype 4097 that is the most stable for IPTV. And for DreamOS you also can try the python code helper servicetype 8193.

Stick with .ts as streamtype

When it comes to plugins there is no diffrence.

The most used plugins like

Xstreamity by KiddaC

XC Plugin by Lululla

Are alle adapted to DreamOS and performe just as good on all systems.

In all my test i would say the Blackhole is the best image. based on the fact it's sorting out bad providers quick since it's the most picky image.

But for the common user they would probably say the opposite. My recommendation is to use test lines

Try and if the provider have issues then just move to the next one until you find a good provider.

And choose the box and image you like best for your regular use and not based on IPTV perfomance because what's not working

in one box/image will most probably not work any better in the next one :)

But some boxes can also boot into android and there you can see some real deiffence between what Box you are choosing.

If you are using IPTV only i would recommend a pure Android box and here DreamTV Mini UHD is a very good choice
