If i get you correct you now have th new drive formated and mounted as /media/hdd in your dm800hd

You have the drive you want to copy from in an usb housing connected to your dm800hd over usb port?

Have you also mounted that HDD

So let's say your external hdd that you want to copy movie folder from is mounted as /media/usb

then jus open a Terminal/telnet connection.

Now type and use this command:

cp -rf /media/usb/*ovi* /media/hdd/

This command will copy your movie folder from your external hdd over to your internal hdd

But if it's a big movie archaive it will take some time :)

And if your external hdd have another mount name just change the yellow path to whatever path you use

Yes but you have tell your provider just this info and that you need the same script but but the installer must be .ipk and not .deb

And just as info this is just a viewer you do not select any picons from this screen so the picon render update is the one finding

any picons in your /data/ folder :)

But i have made the changes to that screen so will add an fix to install later tonight so you also can view picons from the /data/ folder :)

Fix wil be added to the PP extensions / Download manager

Ok i missunderstod your question ;) This is coded into the screen i will have a look at it and add the path

There is absolut no problem to install image in the flash and then go trough the steps to upgrade.

I just want to warn people that if the steps of upgrade is not done in correct order they must reflash their Dreambox.

If the same happen when using BarryAllen then they just need to reboot into the flash and wife is happy wife again ;)

And install and setup of BarryAllen is very easy when done correct.

You need 1 external memory device (usb or sd card) Windows format with fat32

Insert into your Dreambox and do not mount, Just leave as it is.

Install ©gutemines BarryAllen I prefer to do it from gutemines feeds plugin.

Installation finds and format the unmounted device.

This is allways a success installation.

Now you have a safe inviroment to work with :)

I don't have a dm920uhd to test and develope with so building an image from scratch have not been on the agenda.

But i have been testing to build and upgrade based on the old image if you want to try that for me?

I do strongly recommend that you do this with BarryAllen since a fatal crash is possible.

Most users store their picons on external devices and not in the Internal Memory.

But try the attached picon.py file and you can store your regular picons in the data folder

Upload the attached file to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer

restart gui and all should work just fine with picons in folder at /data/picon

Does even people now the concept of stable?

Images can be marked as stable or unstable does not matter what images you use.

Unstable image means that you get all updates and fixes as soon as they are avalible but still not 100% tested by many users.

But you get access to all the latest files and fixes as soon as they are public.

Stable image means that you choose to be left out of the first release and only getsfiles and fixes after they have been well tested.

The Pure2 6.5 in it's core is as stable as the ATV image using it among many others in my test inviroment where my soul purpose

is ti wreck the plugin i am testing and see what images it needs to be adapted fixes for.

Cant say that Pure2 is on the top crash scale ;)

The also users need to understand that an image want be better then the last third-party plugin or skin you just installed ;)

It's the serienrecorder that's coded that way. They use the internal webinterface module code.

I will have a better look the OWF plugin and see if i can add the modules direct into OWF

so for them who wants to totaly replace the interface can do this.

I will also check why the subfolders does not show movies.

But it works for OE 2.6 what is the video format of the files??

You must have DP webinterface installed or else the serien recorder crashes your box.

No module named WebInterface.WebChilds.Toplevel

How about your TV settings have you checked them also??

If you use an IPTV Player app for Enigma2 the picons will be displayed from server.

JediMakerXtream is not a player it's a bouquets builder and therefore not able and assign any picons.

You can compare it to your regular Sat TV channels when you scan those you have to install a picons pack to get picons

Or else they are without picons. :)
