For such an old box you can't compare performance, but if you have an more up to date oscam bin file you could try an replace

the one in use now.

Make sure it's for mipsel and rename if needed to the same name as the one located in /usr/bin

Overwrite and restart Oscam and see if that works better.

You can extract all .ipk files with 7zip. Just right click the ipk and extract

Inside you find two more compressed files.

Extract the data file

Inside that file find the correct oscam bin file for mipsel and try.

I would suggest you download first the Oscam from the Cam feed of Newnigma.

Then you are sure you get a compatible version for this older box.

You must enable multiple bouquets from DP settings

Otherwise only the channels placed into the Favorit folder will show up.

With remote use this

Menu button >> Setup >> System >> Customize

Find the settings for multiple use of bouquets

Well then Newnigma2 does not follow any standar for picon paths.

But since you made a symlink why not link that to the /picons/ folder and put your OW picons there?

There is an order function for picons.

But since the picon rendere from the diffren images is used the path is set.

But there is an order of folder names wher OW looks for picons.

1. owipicon

2. picon

3. picons

So if you put your preferd picons in folder owpicon those will hav first prio, if any missing then next folder picon will be used

If still missing the third folder picons will be the last lookup folder.

Same with paths.

This is the order for the paths

/media/cf/

/media/mmc/

/media/usb/

/media/hdd/

/usr/share/enigma2/

So use one of this path and if you want the same picons in Oscam Webif just change to the same path as yu use in OW :)

Since the DreamOS Webinterface is at port 80 you need to add port 90 to your address in your web browser.

I have given the plugin a major upgrade and adaptaion to DreamOS

It have been asked to put the Terminal/Telnet back into OW for DreamOS.

Because of the security risks i have chosen to not add this in previuse builds.

But now the Terminal can be added by the users as an addon if they want and understand the risks.

First install the new improved OpenWebif 1.5.0

Then install shellinabox from your image feeds

Check if you have the bouquet the error code say it cant find the bouqets file

Okey if you allready are on an Pli image then try first JMX to create your boquets and Pli should have EPG Import plugin

Here is the JMX and take time and read the information about how to setup and use the plugin :)

Okey what image are you using most plugins needs an up to date image to work proper

And do you use a plugin to create your bouquets or just running a enigma2 script that create your bouquets?

I now that emosim is keeping the japhar Pli images up to date for lot's of boxes and they all have pretty good IPTV support

where you can use plugins like EPG Import for EPG and XC forever or Xstreamity to watch IPTV

Also you have JediMakerXtream you can use to create your bouquets and JMX also create a EPG source you can use to download EPG with

plugin EPG Importer

What plugin do you use to watch IPTV now??

All you can do on your DM 800 SE you can do on Dreambox Two but much faster and better.

For IPTV it works very good but you need a third-paty plugin to watch IPTV

They all can record and support EPG.

Now when that is said how good EPG you get depend on your Providers EPG source.

But if you only are going to use the box as a IPTV Player i would rather buy the DreamTV mini UHD

I have a Vu+ Uno4Kse and i love the box it have been working flawless from day one.

But for cheap money if you only need a box to watch IPTV

pragma I see that you are using an very old dm 8000 but what image are you using??

I was just stating that levi45 was correct. He does not use BlackHole Image.

The only Vu+ images giving this dvbapp crash is VTI and Vu+ OI 3.0

Crashlogs can be found at /media/hdd and is named dvbapp something .log

Most probably he use the Vu+ image there is no weather skin parts or support for Weather widgets in the feed

so you need to manual find and install the msn weather plugin.

Does not matter that you put all the python files into the skin. Still needs some extra files not in the feeds.

He either have the orginal Vu+ image or VTI they are the only images giving this message before they crash :)
