    Hi :)

My plan have allways been to stick around but first i got really sick and when i finaly got back on my feet.

My computer broke down and all my files was lost. And yes the old idiot me used the second HDD as backup and was not very smart

since the D: drive was just a partition and not a real HDD.

So hade my work cut out to rescue what could be saved and lost some motivation in the process ;)

Lesson is learned and now all backup goes to external HDD

I allways rebuild before creating the .deb so yes it has probably been me adding this.

But you have redone the Jedi so much i would rather see that you added the code so i dont wreck Jedi for you ;)

Anyway i am back in business and redy for work :rasta2bigsmoke0gf1:

KiddaC Have been catching up on the progress of Jedi and done some good testing.

Results are as usual very good and seems to work very well.

But i see that the servicetype option for DreamOS (8193) have been removed is there a reason for this

or has it just get lost in the updates.

Or.... but cant be possible ;) did i just put it in my self :derpthink: i never do any private fiddeling :chuckle:

Anyway would be nice to have that option in Jedi as we have in Xstreamity

It all depend on what you are going to use the HDD for.

To store and record your tv shows the USB 3 port is good enough so is also the sd card slot.

I have tested then both with 4K recordngs and cant see any issue.

I dont think you can compare Vu+ Zero 4K with the Dreambox One UHD. Even if they both are UHD Zappers made for streaming

there is some years between them.

The Zero 4K was the first UHD stb with full support for MultiStream Tuners know as "mis" and HDR color

Its main use was for Satellite TV so therefore it lacks some functions for playback.
The Dreambox One UHD is also a Zapper and have its limits even if they are not as big as the Zero 4K

In my opinion if you are going to use your STB as a satellite reciver and watch IPTV you should go for the Zero 4K

If you need a powerfull diverse stb then of cause Dreambox One UHD is the choice.

Now when all this i said the Zgemma is an amazing good stb and the price is also very good.

Limitation is the choice of images avalible for Zgemma. For the Vu+ there is plenty of images to choose from.

Dreambox and Zgemma the images are less and for Dreambox One UHD there is no Open Alliance images.

Ja du har förstått mej helt rätt :)

Enklast att få igång är faktiskt med Cccam stopa in kortet och sätt på SVT så skal det inte ta lång tid innan du får bild :)

Its the fbc tuners and supports mis as i wrote its a Sat reciver with the power and harware to match whats needed for Satelite viewing.

I still love my Vu Uno 4K se and its my preferd stb.

But this Dreambox is a long and better step forward then the little brother One UHD.

After some extensive testing i am very happy with the Dreambox Two UHD.

So if the choice is between a 920 and this box the answer is go for the Two.

There is no images other then the DreamOS image for the moment but i hope that image builders are soon starting to make images for this box also.

To compare the One with Two is accully not right, The One have allways been an UHD zapper while the Two is a UHD Sat reciver in its core.

I put togather a starter image for those who want a jump start with the Two :)

    Hejsan

Here is a fully spec image for your Dreambox Two UHD

Image is loaded with extras like.

    • GP4 Bluepanel
    • GP4 Addons
    • Gutemine Addons Panel
    • OpenWebIF
    • Xstreamity for IPTV by KiddaC
    • JediMakerXstream for IPTV to Bouquets by KiddaC
    • EPG Import plugin
    • Softcams/configs
    • lcd linux

Probably more that i have not listed or forgot ;)

Image also have all skincomponents by Zombi pre installed and comes with Skin Shadow FHD by Zombi

OpenWebIf is located at port 90 whiie the regular webinterface for Dreambox is at default location.

To open OpenWebIf just type your DM Two UHD ipadress follow by a :90 in your web browser

    example: 192.168.0.10:90

Image is a backup image since i hade to test the build my self. So you need to configure your tuners and add your favorite channels

Configure softcam/CI+ Module (CI+ for Nordic Canaldigital are working fine with all hw paired channels and module).

and then you are redy to go.

    GreenButton select
